a 5770 blows a 250 out of the water and by the time you have enough money to buy your computer the 5770 won't be worth getting anymore, unless you're getting paid next week
I'm not on a stable income. I'm hoping by the end of this year I will have enough to purchase more parts for cheap. Trying to save as much as possible. I heard 250~4850-ish. Is 5770 better simply becaus of DX11?
theyre both going to be awful unless youre ordering it today by the end of the year a 5770 will be struggling and a 250 even moreso if your finances necessitate buying secondhand computer parts over the course of a year then you're either 12 and should save up some money or you need to take a second look at your priorities
So you're saying I should prioritize gaming components over things like food and clothing?
is that not the norm? i'm hungry but it's okay! i can play DX:HR maxed out
it's because it's a generation newer and all around a better card the 7 series is coming out and by that point the 5770 is going to be 2 generations old and a shit idea if you're going to spend money on a gaming computer. why would you spend $500 on a computer that performs the same as my $500 build the year before because you bought the same video card i did? when you get the money, then look for a build within your budget because in 4 months you'll be able to get a 6870 forsomething like $120 power supplies, cases, and possibly ram are the exception though. if they're good quality and cheap and can get them at a great price, go for it, because they won't get outdated for a while. [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] oh i forgot to write something about being 12 demonguard beat me to the punch
So you're saying I should prioritize gaming components over things like food and clothing?
no im saying that if it takes you that long to save the money for a budget pc then you should probably be focusing on things like food and clothing (and getting a better job) because you obviously arent in a good financial situation to be wasting money on gaming
