I got an annoying problem. I installed some fonts, and now I want to get rid of them. Don't ask why, I just need to. But They're not showing up in the Fonts window. Any way to get into the Fonts folder without it opening up the Fonts window in the Control Panel? Edit: Nevermind.
Right, I have windows Vista 32bit, should I upgrade? (Yes or no, include reasons if you wish :) ) Thank you

(Yes or no, include reasons if you wish ) Thank you
Yes and no... Yes - Windows 7 performs like a new PC. No - Do not use the Upgrade option, install fresh if you can.
I have 09' but it refuses to install because it's "an unsupported operating system". That, and it can't save in an AutoCAD 2000 format correctly.
Have you tried running the compatibility wizard? For me it once made the program skip the OS check, allowing it to installl.
Have you tried running the compatibility wizard? For me it once made the program skip the OS check, allowing it to installl.
I did, it still refused to install. It might be because I had the 32bit version too, I dunno.
Funny, I'm bored of 7 and am ready for 8.
That's because you're an impatient bastard.
For those of us with G11, G15, and the G19 keyboards from Logitech, I bring you a fix to get the volume and media keys working without Logitech's drivers! This was driving me nuts until I found this in Yahoo Answers:
Type services.msc into your run command. Select the "Standard" tab at the bottom. Now find the Human Interface Device Access service. Right-click on it and change it's properties to Automatic. Start the service. Hit OK, and you're done!
Now you should be up and running with volume controls on your Logitech keyboard. (I take no credit for this copy-pasta, just being helpful)
Out of curiosity, why don't you just install the drivers? I've got them installed with no problems for my G15.
What do you mean? By asking for a password?
I mean it'll shut the fuck up for 10-15 minutes after entering the password first time. I was renaming a bunch of folders last night in Program Files. Let's see.. I'll change that... DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE FUCKING FOLDER NAME MOTHERFUCKER YES/NO Mmm.. yes. *UAC pop-up* Ah shit, I typo'd, gotta fix that.. DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE FUCKING FOLDER NAME MOTHERFUCKER YES/NO
Jimmy422 is so butthurt about having his thread stolen (which was orginally panda x's anyway) that he edited the screenshots.
Jimmy422 is so butthurt about having his thread stolen (which was orginally panda x's anyway) that he edited the screenshots.
I'm just being playful with him, we already agreed to alternate after it gets locked.
Yes and no... Yes - Windows 7 performs like a new PC. No - Do not use the Upgrade option, install fresh if you can.
So, reformat then install onto the empy hdd? I'm sorry for being slow with OS and similar stuff, I haven't really gotten around to do any research into it yet :)
So, reformat then install onto the empy hdd? I'm sorry for being slow with OS and similar stuff, I haven't really gotten around to do any research into it yet :)
Yeah, Backup any stuff you need either onto an external drive or similar. Format the original drive when installing Windows 7 and all will be fine.
I'm just being playful with him, we already agreed to alternate after it gets locked.
Wait what did I miss.
Wait what did I miss.
On the paint, and wordpad (or Microsoft Word) image he put in "Thread stolen".
On the paint, and wordpad (or Microsoft Word) image he put in "Thread stolen".
Hahaha. Wait how? Those are random URLs from uploaders. I'm so confused.
I'm so confused.
itt people think that you need an agreement to reopen a locked-due-to-size megathread, and apparently got that agreement from you, as if you or anyone except them actually gave a shit.
Yeah, Backup any stuff you need either onto an external drive or similar. Format the original drive when installing Windows 7 and all will be fine.
Neat. Thanks, I appreciate it! Cheers
Hahaha. Wait how? Those are random URLs from uploaders. I'm so confused.
You have to look harder at images i give you to put in the thread ;)
You have to look harder at images i give you to put in the thread ;)
Still don't see it. Had to save it and change the contrast.
Windoes 7 is superb k. It's nice to see the snip I took of Pandas post on how to resolve the issue causing MSN to pop up after Firefox being minimised from over at AeroXperience is still here :3 (although I didn't re-encounter the issue on RTM)
Is the RC (Build 7600) the newest version?
Is the RC (Build 7600) the newest version?
The RC is build 7100 whilst build 7600 is the RTM version (which is obviously the latest version as it is retail)
