So have Valve outgrown 2001 and given Steam a nice high res icon for Vista/7 with it's update?

no
Still has the 32x32 with 3 rounded corners and one sharp one.
Gabe forgot to sit on one of the corners clearly
Is it just me or did 7 lose some Vista compatibility between 7100 and 7600? Some Vista programs that I was able to get running on the RC won't install on the RTM, specifically the programs that came with my Creative sound card (not the drivers) and Dell Quickset for my laptop (I had to edit the msi to remove the OS version check).
How do I stop my wallpapers from compressing to horrible quality? I save them as crisp as the morning, make sure they're still good in preview, set as wallpaper, and they're compressed. It's unbearable since red compresses the worst and this wallpaper has a lot of red.

is the res of the image smaller than the res of your monitor? that could be why.
also dont save as JPG if you are
it's the same exact size, and i've tried bmps and pngs as well as jpeg, they all compress once they're a wallpaper.
Ooh, Firefox 3.6b1 has Windows 7 support, sorta.

I've tried installing WinFox 6 times, and it's never worked once.
I just did, I wasn't able to change the icon, uninstalled.

Huh, my Firefox 3.5 does that, unless there's something I didn't notice.
Minefield has no current addon support.

Happens in Vista as well, it's quite annoying.

the X64 9600 M drivers keep blowing up so W7 is basically unusable on my laptop.

It's showing all the tabs in the taskbar preview rather than just the current one.
Next stop: Making Firefox not look outdated and shit

Also: Going to take a assumption that it's safe to delete a old windows 7 RC windows folder off a old HDD, right? It's not like I'm gonna use it, I have Windows 7 retail now.
