Anything really fun I can do with windows 7?

Uninstall it! </typicalmacfanboycomment>
On the serious note, try out Windows Media Center, it's got some pretty cool stuff in it.
Especially if you have a Netflix subscription.

Or Media.
[QUOTE=matrix_1995;18358391]funny how windows 7 help threads are exploding around these parts of facepunch. Personnaly, ive had XP for years, then i got Vista, wich couldnt have sucked more donkeybollocks, then windows 7 came, wich wouldnt have any of the previous problems... *cough* yeah, right *cough* overall, im just tired with windows, and the fact that it double/triple/quad asks me if i wont to delete something.... oh, and BTW, my new MacBook just rolled in the door. Windows7 compared to Vista/XP is a top-of-the-line sleek OS, but compared to Mac, it looks like a dogturd with a little windows-logo on the top[/QUOTE]
it only takes one mac user to re-invigorate everybody's hatred for mac. i mean i'm pretty sure most people were starting to open up, too.
I still haven't received my pre-order :tinfoil:
I've just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. I was going to install 64-bit but I was having troubles creating a bootable DVD. You can only install 64-bit if you are already using a 64-bit OS OR you have a bootable DVD.
I'm liking it so far. The new taskbar will take time to get used to be i'm cool with that. ;)
If you want, you can turn off taskbar grouping in the taskbar settings and thus get the Vista-style taskbar.

Yeah I saw that but I think the new way is more organised. It's just that i've used a taskbar the old way all my life and a change like this will take time to get used to, but I think it will benefit me more (I like things tidy :P).
Just installed Windows 7 today. I love everything about it so far. I am having a problem though. My internet seems really slow. I tried downloading my laptop wireless driver, but it does not seem to help. Anyone have any solutions? I googled it but found nothing.
Specs:
Dell Inspiron 1525
2.00 gb of ram
Intel Core 2 duo 1.83 GHz
Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card
Soon I get the windows on my laptop for DVD 7
Am very curious if this will work on my laptop,
According to Toshiba it
Attention, everyone who replied to my previous post on the last page! I just couldnt resist charging in here, in the Windows 7 Mega Thread and say "hey, Macs are better!". Im sorry, its horribly childish, but horribly hilarious, too xD I have all respect for Windows 7, and it DOES look nice. I was merely seeing how many people would verbally assault my ass off :D
EDIT: "new macbook, huh? enjoy living in poverty" Oh come on, you can get a excellent macbook for 1000$ i tried a Dell Vaio P, wich costed 1100$ at DISCOUNT PRICE, and it was horrible. Seriously, i can get a brand new iMac with 27 inch screen, and excellent graphics cards/proccessors for 2000$ And compared to what ive seen to wich prices, that actually a fair price for a more than just "fair" product.
Then again, this is just my opinion. Keep in mind, im not asking for another 12 pages of backstabbing replies.

bullshit
You are probably just one of the normal Mac elitists.
[editline]04:49PM[/editline]
Or maybe you are from 1995
[editline]04:49PM[/editline]
Even though that doesn't make you dumb.
[QUOTE=reapaninja;18420641]bullshit[/QUOTE]
no, seriously. So many times on FP, people who say otherwise than, well, everybody else, will be buried in a mountain of replies, telling them to go shag themselves. Going to the Windows7 Megathread and saying macs are better, just seemed fun at the time, at wich time, obviously, i was bored :P I actually looked forward to Win7, seeing as Vista was a bit of a "oopsie"

I do fancy Macs, but i am in no way an elitist, as you put it. i dont consider it "superior" to Windows, and vice versa
[QUOTE=matrix_1995;18420751]seeing as Vista was a bit of a "oopsie"[/QUOTE]

4850 with a $2000 budget, hmm
and go one down, $1700 for a core2duo and 4670?

you have to admit, Vista had tons of errors when it first came out. I reapeatedly had the urge to throw my computer at the wall, simply because of all of the problems and bugs that popped up around every corner. I speak for a lot of people when i say, that Vista was indeed an unfinished product, complete with ducttape, chewing gum, and the likes of it.

If you're going to run into a thread and be a stupid, mindless troll and an utterly complete liar, make sure you look up some information about the computer you're going to lie about.

it looks shit by the way, there's a reason mice aren't thin as possible and because they're supposed to fit your hand
[editline]07:35PM[/editline]
oh and by the way, there's no such thing as a "dell vaio p" so shows how much you know
[editline]07:36PM[/editline]
might be the reason it (supposedly) runs shit so badly, things tend to need to exist in order to run efficiently

see my previous advice, and try not to get a job working with anything more complicated than your mac or you might find yourself unemployed quite quickly
