no actually, she's never tried mac. nice comeback by the way, about as mature as I'd expect from a 12 year old
No, i apologize for the the mums-a-mactard-lol remark, guess i verbally shot myself in the foot there, my apologies.
Ugh, get out already.
Guys, don't feed the troll. It's only going to make him stay.
jesus fuck I'm glad there's a separate forum for them in mostly related news, anyone noticing the number of raving mactards outside of the Apple forum rising?
They're scared of 7.
Yes. I certainly do notice them.
Guys, don't feed the troll. It's only going to make him stay.
He isn't even trolling, he's just making a puddle of drool on the floor as his IQ is just that low. If Macfags are the lowest form of troll, this guy is even further below that as he can't even troll right.
They're scared of 7.
Nah they are all just pleased Windows has finally caught up with OS X somewhat.
What the fuck... All of these are blank tray icons. I don't know where they came from, but they're filling up my tray and it's kinda annoying.
taskmgr.exe: Open it.
Nah they are all just pleased Windows has finally caught up with OS X somewhat.
Haha, you macboys are funny. :)
Nah they are all just pleased Windows has finally caught up with OS X somewhat.
Take out the sexy UI and OS X is nothing more than trash to me.
taskmgr.exe: Open it.
Nothing unusual. I ran malwarebytes and found a few things, removed them and msconfig'd a suspicions thing out and it stopped. I don't trust MSE anymore.
Got my student's 64 bit version on its way to me now. With the 64 bit you have to format first, even if you have 64 bit vista installed, correct?
I don't trust MSE anymore.
Why?
Got my student's 64 bit version on its way to me now. Edit: That is assuming your talking about upgrading, in the install as long as long as you don't tell it to format it will move the previous install into windows.old.
Take out the sexy UI and OS X is nothing more than trash to me.
I do prefer Window's whole "each window is a program" design compared to OS X's, and the Win 7 dock is much better than the OS X dock, but it's the sexy (and consistent as) UI that makes me prefer OS X to Windows. It's just....so fucking slick. [editline]12:54AM[/editline]
Haha, you macboys are funny. :)
cool. I've had a mac for like 3 weeks and I'm already a "macboy" for liking OS X over Windows. Fucking A
You prefer good looks over practicality and compatibility. Sounds like a common macboy trait, if you ask me. In all honesty, I'm planning to get a Macbook Pro as a next laptop just so I can have both OS's and because the hardware seems neat. It is much more expensive, but I'm so sick of the shitty Alps touchpad that Dell insists on using.
huh? For every Windows app I've used, there has been an equivalent on Mac, and there has been additional Mac software I can now use, so it is laregly as compatible as any Windows laptop I could have bought, and as for practicality, it's a unibody Macbook pro, so it's thinner and lighter than a normal laptop, and the battery life runs to 7 hours (this is why I bought a mac over any windows machine). I bought it BECAUSE of the compatiblity and practicality, not in spite of it. The fact it looks amazingly good too just helps :)
It makes sense to buy a Macbook to get both operating systems, but to say that OSX is more compatible? Ugh. Looks like the elitism got to you.
I said it is largely as compatible, not that is was more (though technically it is true since you can have both Windows and OS X on the one machine easily as you say)
Why?
The fact that is didn't pick that up at all?
The fact that is didn't pick that up at all?
How do you know it was a virus?
Though I prefer Windows to OSX, my next laptop might be a 17 inch Macbook Pro for its battery life and lightweightness. I'm sure some PC makers should catch up soon in that regard.

Also, the battery life does depend a lot on the OS. On Vista, I got like 5-6 hours, and on 7, I'm getting 7:30 to the most I've ever achieved, 8 hours, and that was with Wi-Fi turned off and doing nothing too extensive.

Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 4GB DDR2-800 RAM ATi 4330 320GB Blu-ray/DVD Combo Drive Plays L4D2 demo near-maxed, so yes it's more than powerful enough.
I'm trying to make a a bootable usb drive so I can install Win7 64 bit, but I keep getting this error.. (I'm on 32 bit.) I'm using this guide. Any help? http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-windows-7vista-from-usb-drive-detailed-100-working-guide/
You can't run a 64 bit program in 32 bit Windows. Find a 32 bit version of the file, then use that, or wing it and see if your PC will boot from the USB drive anyway without that stuff
God damn it.. I don't want to wait one more day for the dvd burner to arrive.. Edit: What the fuck. I'm making typos left and right.
