Well im back still looking for desktops capable of gaming, games like Half life and Hl:S blue shift opposing force, half life 2 Garrys mod, TF2 , Left 4 dead 1 and 2 Plenty of memory for when more games come out my desired price range would be $800.00 or less. I have a monitor and keyboard and mouse but new ones would be awesome... anyway i dont feel like building one on my own. Being 14 i dont have a bank account so if you have a link of it from a store like staples (i dont care) that would be great another thing is i saw a desktop the price was $699 the description was " LCD and athlon 6.20 ghz, 8GB, nvidia graphics. Pavilion p6257c-b bundle (if i misspelled something sorry) if that sounds like that can play games please tell me and if not please make suggestions remember i want it to be $800 or under please ,thanks
Build it yourself.
well i wait to see if any one has suggestions if not i will think about doing that
Suggestion: Build one, it's a lot easier then you think, and you get a sweet rig for a good cost.
well i wait to see if any one has suggestions if not i will think about doing that
I'll bet :20bux: that almost everyone is going to suggest building.
probably [editline]02:36AM[/editline] sorry for pissing you off and im not trying to look cool or anything chances are im going to make my own
Good boy. :banjo:
Also if i build my own how much would it cost for it to be capable of playing those games on my list with little to no trouble?
Most of it is pretty self explanatory. A lot of the cables are color coded and keyed, and the spots on the motherboard are labeled.
Also if i build my own how much would it cost for it to be capable of playing those games on my list with little to no trouble?
About $500 - $600, source games aren't very demanding.

One thing to note about the HAF: It's fucking massive. A buddy of mine bought one. It comes with some wheels that you can put on the bottom to roll it around, but his wheels got crushed under the weight of the case itself. Good cooling and cable management though, he tells me.
by the way if i make my own will i have to buy a windows 7
by the way if i make my own will i have to buy a windows 7
Yes. Buy from Newegg.com if you live in America.
$1 for a better brand. Besides, the spinpoint f3 has a faster read/write speed, and I get an average of 270MB/s read speed from my raid0 of 2x1TB drives.
The F3s are good drives.
