I would love to have my own loop, and get rid of this h100, also bare in mind this case is a 650d so im pretty sure only a double rad could fit in here.
Need some help on a part list please. ( Color theme - red & black )
Thanks guys!
Idea - if you can squeeze a uv cold cathode in there with the red, use uv red coolant in your loop.
you could use an external rear-hang reservoir if you don't mind the look, and i don't know if you want a specific type of block, but heres a quick throw together.

Thank you for actually posting pics of the finished build. People never do that.

haha no worries ;)
need to save up for a second 680 now :P
Why don't you water cool that 680?
[QUOTE=Ridz0r;35980809]Why don't you water cool that 680?[/QUOTE]
because its the super-clocked version, I'm not sure if i can.
You can as long as it uses a reference pcb layout, which you can usually check via the pcb label somewhere on the card

where in the hell would that be?
Well, you could also do it by card model. Which model is your card? As far as I know, most high-end cards tend to stick with the standard PCB specifically so you CAN get waterblocks.

The information you're looking for may be underneath the cooler or printed just above the express bus contacts.
also can someone direct me to the correct water block i would need for the cpu ( if i can ) and also the correct barb fittings :S im currently using the Rasa 750 RS240 WaterCooling Kit ( XSPC ) Thanks !
there isn't really a correct waterblock for the cpu, it just depends on what kind of socket it fits over.
[editline]16th May 2012[/editline]
and fittings are generally just in scale depending on which tubing you're going to be using

I don't really know what you're talking about regarding the processor because the build looks just fine anyway?
[editline]16th May 2012[/editline]
well I wouldn't know until I have any idea which pcb configuration your card uses?

Its this one

Oh alright, It's EVGA so at that I can pretty much downright say it's a reference layout. So yeah, that waterblock you posted should be okay. Wait for the opinion of some other members though, I probably know less than most regarding a liquid cooling loop.
can anybody tell me if this card is compatible with the waterblock i chose? and what barb fittings and tools i would need please.
bump
The waterblock will fit, I don't know about what barb fittings you need though.

i need to find this out :/
arent all the specs on there?
[QUOTE=Zerokateo;35994147]arent all the specs on there?[/QUOTE]
I dont think so, i mean, im pretty sure i will need stoppers, barbs, and maybe some extra hose pluss the block, also the tools to undoo the faceplate already on it pluss the backplate aswell haha

FINISHED :D
Your build looks sick, I'm doing my own water build soon but with a blue theme. If it ends up anywhere near as good as yours is I'll be incredibly happy!
Thank you ;) Im pretty much done with this build i think, there's not a lot left that i can think of to improve it =P apart from like a better water block or something haha
[editline]21st May 2012[/editline]
Actually, i think like a 3 monitor set up will be the next thing, but that's going to require a corner desk or a longer one at least, as the bedroom is boxed and the double bed and king sized wardrobe takes up most of the space :( but i may be able to mount some wall brackets or something to make it work.
I think this is my next plan now thinking about it haha.
Oh god.
inb4 your waterblock being clogged due to your liquid choice. Pros run Distilled + Biocide / Silver Kill Coil.
Nice build though. How's your CPU temps on that thing? a single 240 with an ivy bridge @ 5.0ghz must be, uh, well, must run hot.
On a side note, I'm really, really jealous of your 680s. I'm still stuck on god damn vanilla 580s. However they do 950-975 in sli :) and are watercooled.
Using mayhems dye is fine lol loads of people use it ;) it won't ever get clogged atleast aslong as I keep an eye on the system and perhaps flush it every 4 months or so, the temps are 88 degrees with aida 64 on 100% load stress test over 8 hours, which is not bad considering the actual room temps at the moment are 23 degrees lol
