I actually forgot about that, but he can just get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812196870
and one of the ones I linked, or get the Neo Eco and not bother with the adapter.
The Neo Eco is perfect anyway.
I wouldn't use an adapter, but yeah, it seems that the Antec and the XFX is pretty much exactly the same PSU.
Why not? Adapters work fine, it's not as if the PCIE connectors have anything special in them or anything, they're all single rail power supplies too so an adapter will cause no problems.
Yeah I think that Seasonic is a high quality power supply manufacturer I suggest that you get one.
thanks for the help guys
Hope you get a PSU that lasts you a good 5 years.

I may be a father in 5 years.
My Rosewill 550 watt has served me well since Feb 2007, not a single voltage drop, and every 4 months or so I clean out the dust and fan. It's whisper quiet, doesn't get hot, and powers my 95W Athlon64 5000+ X2 and a GF106 (450GTS).
