Will i need to put anything into local port?
Local port should be 27015 since that's the defaults server port.
Entered all that in but that canyouseeme.org still says closed?
I'm trying to eliminate playback issues when watching Blu-Ray's on my PC. I'm trying to isolate what is causing it to occasionally just stop playing for about five seconds then go back to normal.
Here are my specs.

Any ideas on what could be causing it are welcome.
alright so i'm looking to play some emulated games on pc with controllers
i have 2 wireless 360 controllers, will i just need adapters for them like these? http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000HZFCT2
if not, what are some recommendations for good pc gaming controllers?
Dear FP, save me from paranoia.
I've had my self constructed PC for a little while now and since it was built it has been making jet engine noises on boot, clocking sounds like Brrrrrr. I was told in here earlier that that was normal after I checked everything wrong with the PC, still seems quite odd to me.
But today on boot it decided to make a screeching noise as well, I'm not sure if it's always been there and I never noticed because I today decided to listen more closely to the sounds figuring if something was stuck or anything around the panel was banging on it. NOTHING!
It's making me really angry and paranoid, I don't have the money to just go buy a new HDD (even though it's not the most expensive thing) but I'm moving out soon and saving up is important, so can someone maybe explain what is going on here more detailed? I'm not a hardware guru so I won't be able to understand much unless it's explained simplistic :v:
Does music downloaded from iTunes have DRM? I don't normally buy stuff from it, but I won some iTunes credit ages ago and wanted a digital-only album.
Just wondering if there's any DRM that would fuck with players.
Will I need a new PSU if I want to go SLI? (If it's even worth it.)
i5 2500k OCed to 4.4GHz (I assume that makes it use much more watt)
8gb RAM 1600MHz
ASUS P8Z68 V-Pro
EVGA GTX 670 (I'm thinking about getting another one if it's worth it.)
Corsair 650w PSU (Not sure on exact model)

You're fine with 650. Probably not worth it though with how buggy SLI can be and how spotty the game support for it is
Would I be fine to upgrade to a 600 series GPU with my 520w PSU?
I'm running an i5 2500k, stock clock, 8GB DDR3 1600, ASRock P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3 mobo, and an EVGA 560Ti. I think I've got a bit of overhead, but I want a second opinion.
So I have this video card in my HTPC:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121439
Apparently the card tops out at about 27 watts of power consumption. Though in a case with little airflow in that area, it gets really hot. I've seen it top out at around 109 degrees Celsius. Right now I have a little fan hot glued to the motherboard and that keeps it from going over 50 degrees, which I'm comfortable with.
Though that shitty fan is making a lot of noise and I want a better solution, so I'm looking for a replacement heatsink. The problem is Asus seems to have used an odd size for the heatsink mounts. It's 60mm diagonally between the mounting holes. 55mm seems to be the standard. I did find one model that claims to be 60mm on eBay, though I'm not sure about it. Plus it's going to take over a month to get here, so I'm looking into other options:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/190883227193?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Though then on a hunch, I started looking at chipset coolers and found this:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835708148
It claims to fit between 59mm and 63mm, though my question is: Will a chipset cooler be able to dissipate 27 watts of heat? When I think chipsets, I don't think of them getting very hot.
What's the easiest way to clean out shit under your keyboard?
I fucking hate having to peel off all the keys which takes like half an hour and then clean it to have more shit under it a week later.

You could flip it over, shake it, and vacuum out the rest.

More than likely, unless it's a really cheap piece of shit PSU
Any way to decided what gets shown and what doesn't in the right click menu?
is there even one radio station in your area with good taste or is it the commercialized shovelware the record companies are pushing on everyone
woah seattle has some p great stations
Houston has pretty good radio stations.
My personal favorite: http://www.937thearrow.com/main.html
All they play is classic rock and make fun of shovelware stations
So I Need a new mouse and keyboard.
Keyboard does not need a billion macro-buttons or have Enamelled ivory inlaid keys but preferably something a little better that Crazy Asaad's discount office supplies.
Mouse needs to be left handed or ambidextrous and preferably have a side button or two. (Currently using a Roccat Kova+ Unfortunately the middle mouse button is starting to fail.)
Looking not to spend any more than £100 in total. Any suggestions?

I found a PNY GTX 670 I can buy directly for $258 which is why I'm asking. A new 670 goes for around $400 or more here. So it's still not worth it?

If you're having lag problems or you can't max out X or Y game and you really want to then go for it cause that's fuckin cheap.
Need a soundcard. Which one do you guys recommend?
Avoid a soundcard and get a proper DAC unless you specifically want the 5.1/7.1 stuff from a soundcard.

But crazy Asaad has radically low prices!

Yeah, adding to this I'd say get something external first before getting something internal. If it feels like it's polishing a turd then get a sound card.

I don't really have lag problems, Just thinking of future proofing a bit more. Haven't found a game I haven' t been able to totally max out except Crysis 3.

Who said I thought they were bad? I don't hear any Lacuna Coil on them but apart from that, Seattle's actually OK as far as radio goes.
Also while Seattle stations are on the discussion table, what the hell is this iHeartRadio thing KJR joined up to, besides "a sponsor at the music festival Billie Joe Armstrong flipped the fuck out on"? So far I haven't noticed anything about it besides the fact that they have to mention it in their advertisements.
It's an online radio streaming website, a la Pandora.
Are there any decent HD monitors within around £90-£100?
Speaking of monitors, what's a good 4:3 monitor that takes HDMI?
1980s called, they want their aspect ratio back.
Pretty sure they don't make anything with that aspect ratio in decent quantities anymore, let alone with HDMI.
Except they do. They're just 17" and under.
