Yes there will be no issue.
It would be a good idea to set the boot drive order in the bios settings
Lol what? They're the nearly the exact same dimensions. They will fit fine except for varying in the single digit millimeters in length
The Rosewill you linked: 5.91" x 3.39" x 6.42" (W x H x D)
The Coolermaster: 5.9" x 6.7" x 3.4"
The Corsair you also linked 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) X 7.09"(L) (fyi this is longer than what I suggested)
The new Rosewill you linked 5.91" x 3.39" x 6.22"
The standard is 5.9" wide by 3.4" tall, with stuff averaging about 6-7" deep. Its a standard for a reason. If you really need something that precisely deep, go with it but keep in mind that Rosewills are less reliable than other brands. I seriously doubt your case doesn't have a tolerance of 7.6 millimeters for a PSU. Honestly I'd love to see a picture of your case with a ruler by the PSU
And if you have a DVI cable from your 620, it would work fine with the 270, if not you would need one for a 660 anyways. Unless you already have a VGA cable, you'd need an adapter for any new card you get, really. VGA isn't good enough for modern standards.
There is nothing wrong with AMD. For your purposes you'd benefit with it, with higher FPS and lower costs. Also GB of Vram doesn't really mean much. The 270X I linked would beat any 660 you'd bring to the table, but since you don't care, here's a 4GB 270X

Honestly you're just good at being ignorant. You said you're not techy but you're not willing to listen to people who are?
Alright, I need further information. I'm thinking like this:
I'm looking at the back: [_ [ = ^ height v, _ = < width >, Depth = Away from viewer.
I measured it all by tape measure and I didn't really get anything 6" or higher.
Good morning gents. Quick question, have built my own PC in the past, and been out of the loop for a while, trying to figure out if i can put DDR3 2000 into any mobo that supports DDR3, and it will function, trying to save 80$ as i've already got the memory, and would rather not spend money unless I've got to. Here's the mobo i'm currently looking at (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138380), suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
It should function in any mobo, but potentially not at full speed.
Running an .exe "as administrator" usually means to right click .exe and select Run As Administrator. Although if the user account your are using on Windows IS the administrator then you shouldn't need to do this.
This is a common misconception by people who don't understand exactly what the "administrator" designation actually does.
Whether you're administrator or not, programs will not run as administrator unless Windows is explicitly asked to, whether by saying it requires it in the exe (I'm not sure how this is done), or by user intervention (right click -> "Run as", compatibility settings, et al). If it did, it would be a big fucking security hole and would be a one way ticket to a compromised system.
The administrator status, therefore, does not mean "run everything I do with elevated privilege", but in fact means "if I ask you to run something with elevated privilege, please do" (usually after a UAC prompt to make sure you really want to run a thing as administrator).

I can't think of anything you could be doing wrong.
How far away is your PC from the Wifi source? The Wifi adapter and Wifi source may simply not have a good enough combined range to reach each other and maintain a solid connection.
If they are both relatively close to each other E.g. in the next room or whatever, a slightly ridiculous factor such as what the walls of your house contain could be interrupting the signal.
Both of these things could be solved with signal boosters placed around your house, if moving them isn't an option.
To rule out all additional factors, you could put the Wifi source and the Wifi adapter right next to each other, if the signal isn't constant and/or "Excellent" then you know it is an issue directly relating to the Wifi adapter.
Right clicking and hitting run as administrator will not change the fact the game doesn't run on steam though. Even doing so does nothing
Hey what's the difference between Seagate expansion and backup plus external hard drives?
Also which external hard drive brand or model do you recommend for Windows?
I wish I could help out here... I am not a big techie, but I can tell you one thing... Best Buy can talk the talk, but it definitely does not walk the walk. I don't want to go into any more detail, I'm not in the place to do so.

I honestly don't have anything better to contribute. Newegg sells ALMOST everything, it works... if they actually validate your order...

I myself have the Seagate Expansion 3TB model and it works great. My only beef with it is that you only get 2.7 TB to work with but its plenty for me.
I'm looking for a new keyboard, and I'm looking at the Corsair Vengeance K70. However, I'm confused as to which Cherry MX switch I should choose for it. I do both typing and FPS, so I want a switch that has balanced performance between typing and FPS. To me, it seems like Cherry MX Brown switches would do the job, but does anybody have other thoughts about this?

I don't know whether different switches are better for different tasks, I think it's just personal preference concerning the feedback and activation force that makes some switches better for different people. Plus some people hate clicky switches. There is an article that talks about them all here http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2012/12/an-introduction-to-cherry-mx-mechanical-switches/
I got a new Asus laptop for Xmas and the sound is fine when I use the speakers but whenever I plug in my headphones I hear a constant white noise type static. It shouldn't be the headphones since I use them with other things/laptops. Any clue what would cause that and/or how to fix it?
I'm honestly not sure what type of information is helpful to include for this problem, so uh, I have Windows 8 and the laptop has Realtek HD Audio Manager on it.
As above me it's really down to personal preference. Blue is a good switch as well as the common ones red and brown. I think you may still be able to order a Switch test kit and try which switch you like the most.
I'll just go with the Brown switches for now, seems like it's best fit for me based on guides I've seen so far. Thanks for the help. :)
Are Toshiba portable external hard drives any good?
Do any of you guys know of software that can convert mkv files to something else? Everything I find on google is really shady garbage.
Are Toshiba portable external hard drives any good?
I bought one a few weeks ago and it's been working pretty well. Great speeds, small size, great price.
I'm looking at this one
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/toshiba-toshiba-canvio-basics-3-0-2tb-portable-hard-drive-canviobasics3-0-2tb/10273461.aspx
It's $89.99
buy a phone instead

It's not for me though.
It's advice for someone else.
6 months ago I bought a new hard drive and recently it began dropping off randomly. Looking in event viewer I found a couple of instances of related errors("The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0" and "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 during a paging operation.") but they don't provide too much detail about the issue and googling the issue only finds more people with similar issues but no solution other than things I have tried that haven't worked and replacing the drive.
I did an error scan with HD Tune Pro and these were the results (it cut off a little early for some reason, I manually started it again where it stopped and there were no more damaged blocks after where it stopped), sorry about the size of the image:

and here is the SMART data:

While I am not sure I think for a new drive this is quite unhealthy. I am fairly certain the problem lies within the drive itself and since the drive is still relatively and still under warranty I can send it back and get a replacement. That being said, I figured I may as well ask here first to see if anyone could comment on the issue. Am I right in thinking this is unhealthy for a new drive and that there should be no problems if I was to send it back?
It is probably also worth noting that I had another drive that was much older having similar issues and producing the same errors as this drive.
Sorry to bump this but is anyone able to help me out? I want to be sure before I send it back for warranty.
Sorry to bump this but is anyone able to help me out? I want to be sure before I send it back for warranty.
From what I've gathered it looks like it'd be best to send it back. A drive failure is imminent.
Reallocated Sector Count is a measure of how many 'spare' sectors are available for reallocation. If there is a read/write/check error in a sector, it is marked as bad and remapped to one of these 'spare' sectors. Lower values means that more 'spare' sectors had to be used to reallocate indicating a larger number of 'bad' sectors, and generally indicates a worse life expectancy for the hard-drive.
Current Pending Sector Count is a count of how many bad sectors are waiting to be reallocated because of read/write/check errors.
This can all come about due to defects in manufacturing or wear.

I need a new mouse mat but I have no clue where to look. Anyone know any good brands?
I meant mouse mat...
I got a Logitech G600 and I think its time I got rid of the scrap of cloth that is my current mouse mat.
Oh yeah, back to that question with the keyboard, I also wanted to ask about the keyboard model itself. Should I go with the Corsair Vengeance K70 like I said earlier, or does anybody have any other suggestions? Remember, I'm looking for one that has Cherry MX Brown switches.
I have a lot of videos on my external harddrive, what would be a good method of compressing them?

Use handbrake

If you like cloth ones pretty much everyone recommends the QCK+.
Anybody have a clue why my (PS/2) mouse cannot scroll with the wheel? I can still press it like a button to use the other scroll function.
Will a Phenom II 555BE quad-core bottleneck an R9 270X? If so, by how much, and what CPU should I look at?
Oh and will a 550W PSU be enough to handle it?

Probably not significantly. As you can see here, an X4-960T (close enough to an unlocked 555BE) isn't bottlenecking a 7970 (and the 270X is basically a slightly faster 7870). It's slower than newer stuff by about 10% on gaming benchmarks, but it should be good.
If you do want to upgrade, I think an FX-6350 or FX-8320 would be compatible with your motherboard, and would be an appreciable but low-cost upgrade. If the FX-series chips don't work in your mobo, you'd probably be better off getting a Haswell mobo+cpu - more expensive, but the biggest improvement and a better upgrade path than AMD is right now.
