Hey I just noticed Chrome added a notification thing to the taskbar. I noticed a load of extensions I thought I had removed are there and they are not in my extension list so I can't get rid of them. Some of them are Remember The Milk, Springpad and Weebly. How can I remove them? They aren't there to uninstall
I've asked before but I didn't manage to fix it: Can someone explain to me why I get horribly lower framerates and screen tearing when I have windows open on both of my monitors? When I have only stuff on a single monitor everything's fine and smooth, and in games it's not an issue at all. I'm using a GTX 760 so I know it's not a hardware related issue.
I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I'm looking for a decent set of earbuds/headphones to listen to my music/3DS.

I'd expect roughly the same performance as my laptop (660M, basically a 650), so Crysis for example would run at medium-high, and I've yet to find a game that would not run. Nail down the CPU, though - a bad one will hurt your performance.
Is there a way I can use both of my monitors in remote desktop? I have one 1080 horizontal, and one vertical. It only grabs the horizontal.
Does anyone know how to fix Audiodg.exe for Win7? Every once in a while, ill be playing Skyrim or something like that, and all of the sudden, BOOM, I have to reboot my system.
i5 2500k Is it worth £345/$578?
It shouldn't be that expensive unless the country you live in has expensive hardware in general.
If it's that expensive you should just get someone from the US to mail it to you lol. The 2500k isn't that great of a model though. You should get 4670k or something like that. Though if you have 578 to spend on a processor you can get an i7.

I was a dumbass today. I was trying out fans from my giant pile of old crap, and I connected the molex while my PC was running (just to see how smooth the fan runs). I've done this a million times over the past 10 years, but this time I had a bad connector apparently. There was a tiny blue spark and my PC instantly shut down and rebooted. So my question is, could this have done any damage to PSU/MB? I did a restart, a cold boot and ran some games and everything seems to be fine. I might just be paranoid, but if there's any risk of damage, I want to know.

Emergency shutdowns like that are designed to prevent damage - if it worked properly, it would not be damaged.
Why does the YouTube player go black for a second when changing from 720 to 1080 and back.
my laptop has built in bluetooth but it doesnt support my ps4 controller, so i bought a dongle (that works on my desktop) so my question is how the FUCK do i disable the onboard bluetooth because my lappy wont recognize the usb
Why does the YouTube player go black for a second when changing from 720 to 1080 and back.
Because it unloads the 720p video and then loads the 1080p? In the midst of loading the 1080p there won't be anything to show
Because it unloads the 720p video and then loads the 1080p? In the midst of loading the 1080p there won't be anything to show
Usually it starts buffering the 1080p a few seconds ahead and continues playing the 480p it defaults to in the meantime. At least with me it does.
My roommate can get this laptop for 2k AUD http://h20386.www2.hp.com/AustraliaStore/Product.aspx?pdetail=P305392 Worth it? It's for University and some low-mid tier gaming He's pretty happy with it's Specsheet and Leap Motion control ability
wouldn't touch an hp laptop with a 10 ft pole
Yeah HP is a no go, same with Dell/Alienware. My sister had a hp gaming laptop, overheated for fun, and when it overheats it just shut down. Was a pain to get the hdmi to work as well
HP laptops are so well known for overheating. I'm sure I posted in this thread a long time ago about how my brother's HP laptop warped and changed shape from the heat it generated and sort of fell apart.
What's a good manual ID3 tag editor? I've been doing it just in WMP, but it seems to be storing it in some other file because the changes don't appear when I copy my library to other computers.
I use mp3tag.
Can't you just right click the file, go into properties and change the tags in there? I know you can at least change some of them
Can't you just right click the file, go into properties and change the tags in there? I'm downloading mp3tag now, we'll see how well that works.

I think you'll like it though, especially for the bulk action stuff
