Can anyone recognize what cpu series this is?
Looks like something LGA771 or LGA775. Which is a pretty wide range - from late-era Pentium 4s and Pentium Ds up to Core 2.
Oh I found it thanks. It's a Pentium D you're right
Any ideas why this happens when I try to open a certain bluray movie file? It used to be opened fine but now it never opens with VLC or any program for that matter (It only happens with this one movie)

My computer used to spaz out and do this when generating thumbnails, found out it was a specific video file type causing it (PlayTV recording) so I just deleted the video. I guess you could try updating your codecs?

Does ram speed actually make a difference? My friend just paid a shit load of money for some 'high speed' ram when i have the same amount (8gb) for less than half the price

Not in any benchmarks i've seen.

The difference is negligible, and will be more significant when loading larger things from RAM, but still a small difference

Press F2 to move the cursor within the cell. It resets after you hit enter, though.
I'm not sure if this is the right place - I cannot send any Direct Message through Twitter. Over internet there's nothing about any limitations, or bans, or anything. It's not just links, normal short messages are also failing.

check network tab in dev console when it happens and see what the response is
check network tab in dev console when it happens and see what the response is
I'm not sure, but as far as I see there's actually nothing happening there (two attempts of sending a message):

It's weird, it started in the middle of conversation - first only few messages, now I cannot send anything.
I'm not familiar with firefox but you should be able to click it or something and view the actual error

i'd say relog if you haven't

I've tried reloging, clearing cache and actually everything. It's probably not anything with Firefox, because I cannot send any direct message through my phone.
Trying to figure out what model of a NVIDIA GTX 780 I should upgrade to but getting information overload. Any help would be greatly appreciated :>
I have an issue with BSOD, in the last few days my video card's drivers crashed repeatedly at random and the screen constantly glitched out, with pixels randomly changing colour and appearing. Now when I start up my PC I get two large clumps of miscoloured pixels around the loading messages, then when it boots up it goes straight to a very colourful BSOD that then freezes instead of restarting.

It works in Safe mode, but the fucked pixels are still there
Have you checked nothing's overheating?

Gotta buy an SSD because my hard drive is dying on me. What should I pay attention to?

Samsung 840 EVO's are really good.

840 EVOs are basically the best and some of the cheapest.
What is this.

It's not a GTX770, that's for sure. There's no way you'd be able to cool it with a card like that. The specs they provide seem more in line with a GTX 750, although I wouldn't be too surprised if it's a complete fake.
It has a screen size of 15 inches, that's pretty good.

If you break open that plastic thing, you maybe be able to solder it back on.
Thinking of getting a CPU Upgrade, but waiting on news for the next line of processors for 2015 before upgrading.
Would it be worth it to upgrade now? Or wait for the next line?

Depends. Are you using an Intel workstation (Xeon/i7 Extreme), Intel desktop (i3/i5/i7), or AMD build?
Intel's workstation/enthusiast line is currently on Ivy Bridge-E, and there's some decent upgrades coming with Haswell-E later this year. But those will need a new motherboard since it's a new socket, so maybe you don't want to bother.
Intel's desktop line is supposed to update at the end of the year. But it's just a die shrink of Haswell, so no real performance gains (unless maybe there's a GT3e desktop CPU, but that's just integrated graphics performance). I wouldn't even bother updating unless you're also going from a lower-end CPU to a higher-end one.
AMD is in a weird spot. Their pure-CPU desktop line is dead - outdated and with no replacement hinted at. Their "APUs" are also in a weird spot - the only upcoming releases we know about are ultra-low-end stuff, not an upgrade in any sense. They have some stuff in the pipeline (a whole new microarchitecture, actually, plus possible GDDR5-using APUs), but no actual products have been announced.
The rule of thumb I generally use is not to wait unless you know something better will be coming out within a month. There's always something slightly better down the line, so otherwise you'll end up waiting forever.
