I'm thinking about picking up a chromebook. Budget is around $300. Any suggestions?

Outside of "Don't," you mean? Because that's pretty much the only suggestion I've got.

Why not? Literally all I want to do is browse on a bigger screen than my phone, and I've got a pretty limited budget as you see. Mobility and weight is also a pretty big concern.
Edit: it's an honest question. Give me a better option and I'll happily take it. I'm usually very hesitant to recommend chromebooks, but for my parameters, it seems like the best fit.
You don't need a remote access licence for multiple connections at once.

When i had Windows Server 2008 (before switching to linux), i had to buy a license for remote desktop.
nvm
At work I've been tasked to find VGA to HDMI converter for the conference room TV as some of the clients have VGA only laptops and the TV is HDMI only. I realize this is going to require an actual video converter. However I have no experience with them so I have no idea which ones are good. I would prefer it support 1080p and have a 3.5 audio jack. He didn't give me a budget but under 100 USD is most likely good.
Okay, so, recently, whenever my Chrome goes to some sites with their own players, it gives me a 'plugin does not load' error. I've seen this happen on blip, twitch, and NBC's website, but not on Youtube, so I don't think it's Flash. What's going on?
Is there a way to use a PS2 with a computer monitor? The ports I have are DVI and VGA.

There's a VGA adapter (for the linux kit), but your monitor needs to support green on sync.
I found this hard drive in my attic, I am curious because it says "DELL DOS" on it, any idea what it was probably used for?

Looking to buy a 27", 120hz or higher, 1920x1080 native, fully adjustable mount monitor for no more than £400.
I'm very tempted by the Benq XL2720Z, it fits my criteria and I already a BenQ XL2420Z so the two would go together quite nicely. As this isn't going to be a cheap investment I thought I'd ask here if anyone has any alternate suggestions?
27"

1920x1080
What? Do they even make those?
I wouldn't use a 1080p screen any bigger than 23". My 27" screen is 1440p for that reason.

They do. My coworker just got a 28" 1920x1200 and his roommate has dual 27 1080's. I don't understand
Yeah they do. I chose that res because it seems that anything higher than that usually can't do 120hz or is alot more expensive.

How can I tell if my monitor supports it?
How can I tell if my monitor supports it?
No idea, I don't think it's a thing with LCD monitors anyway.
Then is there some other option then? I saw some people use TV tuners but latency can be an issue. Some of the active adapters are really expensive and cost more than the console itself...
There currently exists one 1440p 120hz 27" monitor: the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q.
However, it's a TN panel. And it's ASUS. And it's $800. And it's garbage.

Yeah I saw that one.

Only guaranteed way is using a converter. I personally use a PS2 component cable and a Monoprice Component to VGA converter. Works pretty well with next to no input lag and no interlacing artifacts. Still going to be low res but component is going to minimize picture artifacts and inaccuracies and is as good as your going to get in a fairly tight budget (about $40). You can also take advantage of Progressive Scan and HD resolutions on games that support them.

Yep, that ought to do it.
I wanna get a high level IT jobs that's mostly hardware related. Do those exist? I love hardware and I could work with it all day. I know about software too, but I'm still learning.
Anyway, what can I learn before I go to college in 2 years that will land me a high level hardware job?

I want the same exact thing. They don't exist. I'm going to school for WAN now to hopefully sit at a server farm

Once again I'm asking with a CPU temperature problem... so I switched the stock cooler with an Alpenföhn Sella one and the CPU is a AMD Athlon X2 5600+, basically gets 90°C when under full load.
I currently have a 92mm intake fan(33cfm) and a 80mm outtake fan(25cfm) and I'm thinking of replacing them with a 120mm intake(52cfm) and 2x 80mm outtake fans(25cfm each), since I'm kinda lost at the moment what else I could do.
The only other option would be getting a new case, where the PSU sits at the bottom, but I'm kinda short on money currently.
if it's getting to 90c the heatsink isn't mounted properly, case fans wouldn't matter that much
if it's getting to 90c the heatsink isn't mounted properly, case fans wouldn't matter that much
That's just under load, it idles at 40°C. And I'm sure the heatsink is mounted properly, there's those 2 holders that snapped into place.
As reference, that's after about a minute of running FurMark CPU Burner:
