Have Razer Megalodons, and recently audio has been a bit off in games. Mostly noticeable with dialogue. When I'm staring at the speaker, their voice is really low, but the moment I stare away from them, their volume jumps back to normal. Anybody know the cause?
I'm building a PC for the first time, and it's going to sit underneath my desk on a nice board of wood.
So, question is, is it generally better to mount the PSU with the fan up or down?

Doesn't really matter at all, just do whatever you think looks nicer. When I build I go fan down unless there's a fuck ugly sticker on the bottom side.

downward obviously, why would you want it to intake air from inside the case?
Don't know what I did, but text looks like this on Facepunch.

I'm guessing it's me since nobody is bitching about a FP change. How do I fix this?
Check font settings and accessibility settings.
Can a CD have multiple .iso files on it? Like could I put memtest and DBAN on a disc and then choose which program to boot into when booting to the disc?
also same goes for usb flash drives

Yeah, but you'd need a program like XBoot in order to choose the different ISO's:

Suddenly I got "Hardware Error 8192"
Initialize ...

Failed to write ISO image, Error: Hardware Error 8192.

It would be nice knowing what's wrong

It seems to mean that my disc drive is shit and can only read empty discs...
I found an external one which works like a charm.

intake, that's why there are the venty holes in the back for the hot air to come out of. good quality power supplies don't generally get very hot, so it doesn't matter much where it's drawing in the air from as long as there's at least some circulation.
For running 3-5 small Gmod servers and a website, is Xen (non HVM w/e it's called) or KVM better? (Mostly for CPU power, aka which one assuming an equal share/physical CPU will be better)
God that is worded horribly.
yes i realize dedicated > vps but i am poor
I'm looking for a router that can handle many connections (we're 7 people in a flat) since our current one is overheating even though it's in a ventilated space. We're also on a semi-limited budget, so nothing too fancy, around $100.
I found my old USB Missile Launcher toy, but I've lost the software installation disk long time ago.
Any idea where I can get the software again?

It's that one ^
Sup, anyone got a tips for a nice router? Budget ~200 bux, but the cheaper the better.
We got about 6 devices hooked up through the WiFi and 4 devices via cable.
Why do you need a router? Just put them in the same network?
No I mean, a new router. The old one is behaving weirdly.
TehWhale recommended this one a page back: http://www.amazon.com/Medialink-Wireless-Broadband-802-11n-Internal/dp/B0044YU60M
I have a Linksys E4200 at home. Aaand I would say it gets some pressure. We have ~10 connected units, where only two are wired. Sometimes we have more on it. It runs with ease. My server also runs some VPN so if I wanted to I could connect to home so it also takes some more IP addresses.
I have 40/40mbit fiber, I get 50/50 and some times almost 70mbit. My router handles it perfectly. I even had a problem with lightning which broke some stuff, so I kind of fear that has made the components get slightly hotter - might just be me though. It can feel a bit warm, but it runs like it should.
EDIT: Oh, and the router has 5ghz so your macbook can have it's own little party.
EDIT2: Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but why the fuck would you skip on something that all your devices use anyways?!
If you're actually serious about music I would say a MacBook Pro. Even though the price doesn't fit.

Would I be much better off waiting for Haswell or going for an Ivy Bridge now for my next build?

If you NEED a computer right now, then get Ivy. If you can wait, wait for Haswell.
