It's so frustrating. All I want to do is use one disk for standard, and one for pro at work. But I have to keep track of 4.

I can't confirm it, but I used a Windows 8 Pro ISO to install standard Windows 8 on my laptop and it correctly installed the non-pro version without giving me grief over it.
IOBit? I always found that to be god awful. At least their run of the mill consumer bloat pack
I'm too paranoid to run only one anti-virus on Windows, but IObit's various crapola + one or two more AV solutions has served me just fine with no notable performance issue. Maybe they've improved since you last used them
if the dsl light on the router goes red and everything is connected right(wires) then is the problem on the isp dslam?
usually though you may also want to plug your DSL modem into other jacks in the house just to make sure you didn't have one go bad somehow that happened to me once [editline]26th September 2014[/editline] could also be the bill payment's late but you'd know that better than me i think

how badly does read/write to an SSD affect its performance? I keep hearing of people who try to minimize read/write to extend its lifetime, but I've disregarded that as it doesn't sound like you'll lose 5 years of an SSDs life just for using it. probably a good idea to figure out how much truth there is to it though.
As far as I can tell, current technology is drastically extending the average lifespan of an SSD and making it easier to perform more/longer read and write cycles. I don't know how much it's changed between now and a couple of years ago, but I'm sure the numbers are significantly different.

Advanced system mechanic, driver booster, smart defrag, etc
I dunno. I almost always remove it because imo it's borderline bloatware when every system that comes in with it has the full package. Advanced system mechanic, driver booster, smart defrag, etc
Of course OEMs probably installed every component, and when you install 35 programs that all know how to work with each other I would expect some major slowdown from them constantly communicating with each other. I run only Adv Systemcare, Smart Defrag and the malware component. I installed ASC because I have friends who swear by it and I wanted to see what exactly it did, and so far it's done nothing I couldn't do myself, but I let it do its thing anyway since I'm also a lazy bastard (it only runs when I tell it to since I'm on the free version but I have no issues with this). Smart Defrag is something I'd been using for years, and it's perfect. Only competitor is Defraggler.
Any way/utility to restore deleted texts on an iphone?

It's free, and it does everything you could ask of it. CPU-Z is also pretty good, if you're looking for more raw data.

it was speccy thanks also how good is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 for a current gen gaming graphics card [editline]26th September 2014[/editline] I went to a website and it scored 5.9 out of 10

So, your options are 760-780Ti, or the new 900s.
Honestly, anything below the 760 just isn't worth buying. So, your options are 760-780Ti, or the new 900s.
It's actually not that bad for light gaming. Also, the 750ti is pretty much the high point of nvidia's price/performance. Definitely worth buying.
what is light gaming I shelled out $1000 for this wtf [editline]26th September 2014[/editline] im gunna be poor
what is light gaming I shelled out $1000 for this wtf [editline]26th September 2014[/editline] im gunna be poor
$1000? Is it a laptop?

Should run most things at medium-low, but it's not that great. It's basically just an OEM-only 750 with too much VRAM.
So I've got a bit of a problem myself. The throttle on my HOTAS seems to have flipped itself around for no discernible reason, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd try a configuration utility, but it's a T.Flight X, so it doesn't have one. Right now I've just rebound Z+ to Z- using the preset button, but I have to remember to hit that button every time I want to use it. I don't know why it's inverted now, it was working fine a week ago.
I'm actually really happy about my PC. Tired a game of dota and I loved it.
$1000? Is it a laptop?
Well I spent $1500 Monitor, PC, Taxes, Warrenties.
Can I get a suggestion for a decent hard drive monitoring utility. Thanks guys!
Monitoring as in constant and alarming you if status changes, or monitoring as "I want to check my HDD status" ? Also, what platform is this for? Linux/Windows/OSX?
Monitoring as in constant and alarming you if status changes, or monitoring as "I want to check my HDD status" ? Also, what platform is this for? Linux/Windows/OSX?
Windows, and to check things like status/health, read/write speed etc.
Is i7 920@3,6 worth upgrading? Would it bottleneck a 970 ?
It would have a small bottleneck. If you have the funds feel free to upgrade to an i5 4690k.
