I can't install MSE.

What have I tried:
Reinstalling .NET (version 4 and version 4.52 or whatever is required for AMD drivers)
Restarting (as it says)
Uninstalling MSE (I had it installed through ninite, couldn't update, uninstalled and can't reinstall)
Installing through Windows Update - same error.

This might help, try googling the error code given (that helps in many situations).
Best bluetooth mouse? I use a Roccat Kone Pure Optical with my desktop.
anyone else having an issue where after opening a new tab in chrome, you can't tab to chrome? it simply disappears from the alt tab menu as soon as i open a new tab
you sure nobody enabled QOS management in your router?
because that fucked our connection once
I've always had the default QoS settings enabled because they do a good job of ensuring that uploads don't completely choke out everything else, but for the purposes of troubleshooting I've made sure stuff like that is off.
I finally got the ISP to see that something is wrong, I guess the issue was sporadic. They're going to just swap out the modem and check the cables.
I have a Samsung SyncMaster T220 monitor. I just replaced the power supply board in it because the backlight died. As in the piece came in yesterday evening and I installed it that night after class. However, while the monitor is working (the backlight is on), it's flickering for a good while after being first turned on. There's also a clicking noise coming from it while it flicks that goes away when the monitor is turned off or the flickering dies down. Any ideas on what could be causing it? I'd really rather the monitor not be dying, obviously, but I also have a feeling I could have just not gotten something cinched down well enough?
Can buying Steam CD Keys from cheap websites result in me getting VAC banned or anything?
Used a site that came through for me. Just got ARMA 3, can't fucking wait to play.

The moment I posted it I found the solution. Sorry about that.
Any good android phones with physical keyboards for around 200$-ish?
Been looking at Motorola Photon Q XT897 Sprint CDMA, but im open for suggestions.
good android phones
with physical keyboards
good android phones

Pick one.
Physical keyboards have gone the way of the dodo, man. If you really want one, I think Blackberry still has them.
So I got some Audio Technica M50x headphones
and im just not getting the quality of sound that I get on my other devices (Bass & Treble response, volume very weak.etc) ive ask a couple people on a fix and they recommended an amp that started at 150€ to 500€!
Is there a simpler/cheaper fix?
So after moving home for Thanksgiving I'm having serious problems with my VPS. It's located in Maidenhead, UK, and I'm in the United States. At school I could connect to it fine and max out my 50Mbps connection. At home I'm literally transferring a 12GB file at 55 KiB/s. Every now and again it'll max out but that's a rarity.
I tried doing a speedtest from my house to the closest node: 50 Mbps. I did a speedtest from my house to London: 50 Mbps. I did a speedtest from my house to Maidenhead, UK: 0.8 Mbps. WTF?
Thanks for the help before, replacing the modem seemed to fix my internet troubles. The tech that came by was really amused by the fact that speedtests and torrents worked fine, but ultimately had no explanation for it.
Upgrade to either a 970 or 980 or get two matching 24 inch monitors that can go to 1440p?
For reference I have a 770 2gb right now. Monitor wise I have a Dell s2409W and a Envision 912Sw-1. I was planning on getting a Nexus 9 for my birthday/Christmas but I'm curious about upgrading.
There's a case I'm looking at getting but it doesn't have any disc drive slots (NZXT H440) and I still prefer physical copies sometimes depending if there's a collectors edition I might want. Are external disc drives decent enough to install a couple of things such as games that were before steam works and any digital retailer?

Yeah, external DVD drives are perfectly fine. Assuming you're not going to get any massive games split across 10 DVD's. Then you'll notice a slowdown.

Yeah i use discs mainly for the ones that don't activate with steam or other drm retailers
Well with all these sales I have decisions. Do I go back on my original plans of an x99 system and just pick up a 4790k and 16gb RAM? Only reason I'm considering it is so I can instead pick up 2 980 classy's when they come out instead of one with a 5820k.
Is the Asus VG248QE worth it at $220?

So I just picked up both of those, i'm wondering if my current cooler master 212 is going to fit on that mobo though, does anyone know?

I can't delete this folder.
Windows says it's no longer located there and cannot delete it nor rename it. Command line couldn't delete it either, and I've rebooted twice with no change.
Da hell?
[editline]27th November 2014[/editline]
I think it's because it has a trailing space at the end. Command line identifies it as "intro " so that could be the cause of the problem.

Nvm, got it with rd "intro \"
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but would you all recommend a Logitech G930?(Store Page)
So far I've seen good reviews and the price is pretty nifty. I know audio quality will not be the best but I currently feel I'm ultimately willing to sacrifice some of that for a mostly cord free life.
There are better alternatives. The G930 is pretty dated at this point now.
What would you recommend? I'm in the $100-$150 range of headsets.
So I've never swapped mobo/cpu before(done a GPU swap and ram swaps and full construction from the ground up) but I'm wondering if there's anything to know when it comes to just doing a swap
Question why do you need wireless? Also is range a must?
I get up a lot so it would be nice to just be able to move without necessarily having to deal with the process of getting the headset off. I also get the cables wound in my office chair frequently which is frustrating. I understand this could probably be resolved by better cable management and just having more time but part of me would just rather get the wireless headset and see if it's right for me. Range doesn't need to be absurd - just about 10-20ft. I'd like a battery life that's around 12hr but 10 is fine.

Its pretty straightforward if you've built one from scratch. Only thing is you *may* need to reinstall Windows due to driver issues. I know that it will most likely complain about activation for sure. Just some things to be prepared for, but you may have very few issues for all I know.
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X or MSI Z97-GD65 ?
