so i've bought a bluetooth dongle for my desktop (this one, if it matters) and currently using a mouse with it. it works fine for about 15-30 minutes, but all of a sudden, i would start getting massive input lag. if i switch the mouse off and back on it's back to normal for another 30 minutes. is this a problem with the dongle, or the mouse? thanks in advance.
Hey. Need help really bad here. I went to add music to my music folder and noticed that the entire folder was empty. Started to panic so I reset my PC to see if it fixed it, and now the drive that it was on is completely missing from the computer. Does this mean the drive failed or could it be something else? Is there anyway I can fix this to find out what was on the drive
My router in the living room isn't extending much so I'm getting weak signals in my room. Since I've a LAN point in my room, I got a another router. What sort of configuration do I need to do so that there won't be any conflicts?
Power supplies do degrade over time, but you're not going to see a 750w not boot up a 770 after only 5 years.
unless you buy a really low rated one and you run the thing at max capacity all the time, i doubt you would see that to any noticeable extent

Yes, that's right. Any advise on how to do the latter?
What router did you get?
Hm, Living room router - Cisco DPC3925 My room - Prolink PRN3001A
Looks like it supports being an access point. I'm not familiar with the prolink firmware unfortunately, but there should be an option on initial setup to make it an access point.
anyone have a bluetooth dongle they recommend that works with motionjoy & windows 8? preferably from amazon prime, but other vendors are fine as well.
So my drive suddenly reappeared. In Defraggler the HDD health status says warning and in the HDD Health tab it looks like this: Should I be worried?

It should be under device preferences.
Looking to get a new monitor after christmas. Been looking at G-sync as apparently it's great, but they're quite expensive. Also, do I go 144hz but only have 1080p, or 60hz with 4K? I'm leaning towards 144hz as 4K is a bitch to play games at highest settings, which I would much rather do. What do people think?

What do people think?
If you didn't see my post a little bit ago:
Well I have a 144Hz 1080p monitor and it's glorious for games but you have to make sure you have enough GPU power to run games at 144fps to fully take advantage of 144Hz. 1440p is really nice because it gives you a good amount of extra space while not having to have any special ports (DP1.2) and you can get it for cheaper than 4k. And 4k is amazing because you have 4x the screen space of 1080p but game UI scales weird at that resolution but you don't need to use AA at all actually. Also you need to remember than 1080p you can get in 21.5" to 27" screens while 1440p is going to be 27" and 4k is most likely going to be 28" (I wouldn't recommend 24" because everything is tiny enough as it is right now). So depending on what matters most to you then: If you want to game mostly: 144Hz 1080p If you want to work and game: 1440p or 1080p x3 (Depends on desk space and how many ports on your GPU) If you want to work mostly: 4k Source: I own a 144Hz 1080p Monitor, QNIX 1440p, and an Acer 4k This is just my opinion though. I haven't made the 4k switch yet because I don't wanna be done with my 144hz yet :(
I haven't made the 4k switch yet because I don't wanna be done with my 144hz yet :(
Build a 4k 144hz out of 4 of your 144hz monitors.
Build a 4k 144hz out of 4 of your 144hz monitors.
I'm probably just going to get a 4k for productivity and keep my 144hz and get a mount so I can move them around.
I'm probably just going to get a 4k for productivity and keep my 144hz and get a mount so I can move them around.
That's what I did pretty much but I decided to give my mount to my brother for Christmas
Hopefully I'll be doing 4k in college
Hopefully I'll be doing 4k in college
Just take out a double mortgage on your parents house so you can afford the monitor and hardware.
What causes DNS problems? This morning I could connect to all webpages, but when I got back from school nothing worked. Tried flushdns and rebooting PC/router, but to no avail. Problem didn't get solved until I switched to the Google DNS.

is anyone else having a problem with youtube/google+ managers setting? suddenly i cant use my youtube account on the mobile app although my primary account is still listed as a manager
So a few weeks ago I posted about a dying monitor. I replaced the power supply board in it and it's still giving me a good chunk of issues (flickering, clicking, backlight dying still). I'm now in the market for a new, relatively cheap monitor. Right now the only thing I need out of it is to be decent quality (preferably surviving a few years until I can get a higher quality main monitor) for a low price. Anything past that is a plus. I'm trying to keep it under $200 at the absolute most (would like to keep it under $150-$170) and would like, if possible, a 1080p IPS monitor suitable for casual design (primarily web/mobile app design) and gaming. Any recommendations? My mom found this Samsung monitor for $170 at Costco and it looks decent. I'm also looking at this one and this one, both off of Logical Increments' monitor section.
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Thinkpad 10 for $325+tax (http://shop.lenovo.com/outlet_us/itemdetails/20C30007US/445) Are there any other Baytrail Win-tablets I should be aware of with similar specs/dimensions? I'm looking for ~10in and Wacom/N-trig digitizer. I'm going to be using it mainly for note-taking.
was playin dota and this happened friend said maybe gpu is kill its a late-2012 iMac should i be worried (it went away after like 15 mins and i restarted percy anyway) [t]http://puu.sh/doMcV.jpg[/t]
What are the best 1080p and 1440p monitors for a triple monitor setup? I can't find one with a small bezel, they all are massive. I haven't decided whether I want to go with a 5760x1080 setup or a 7680x1440 setup so any input will be nice, I've got the hardware side down but I am not as knowledgeable on the monitor side.

If they're common monitors I guarantee you there's a guide out there specifically for them.
Does anybody have a clue why my headphone jack might require constant pressure to detect anything is even plugged in? It is the front port on a Gigabyte z68ap-d3. Some headphones work better than others, and some days it just plain works/breaks. I tried using the port on my keyboard (G510) but for some reason that is so heavily distorted it's like having bad cellphone reception constantly.
