I'm fairly sure it is possible. Make sure you aren't disabling your onboard video in your bios, and then go and install the drivers for both ati and intel. Hook up one monitor to each, and see what happens.
It does work...
thanks
A friend of mine bought a new Prestigo Nobile / PER3574B stuff, and when he connects the thing into his computer, his pc doesn't detect what it is. The Device Manager shows it as a Unknown Device, and I went to google drivers for it, I couldn't find one. Also, the manuals imply that it doesn't need any drivers installed. What can he do? The cables are in good condition so I don't know what the problem might be.
Edit:
Nevermind, fixed. Placed a microSD card in, plugged in to the computer, now it works without microSD card too.
Dell UltraSharp U2713H. Good monitor? I was planning to get the older U2713HM, but found the U2713H is only $60 more, and gives me AdobeRGB, a DisplayPort out and a mini-DP in instead of a useless VGA in, upgrades the USB hub from 2.0 to 3.0 (not really necessary, since the desktop's USB2.0 only) and adds a card reader.
The only thing that doesn't look good is that the control buttons are now touch instead of buttons. I plan on sharing this monitor between my laptop and desktop, so input switching should be painless.
Thoughts?
Edit:
Nevermind, just bought it.
Run memtest longer, one pass not causing an error leads me to believe it's not the RAM, though.
I have heard that to be properly sure you should let it complete 7 passes, maybe I should just run it over night. The bluescreens I looked at with WhoCrashed, and they generally said "most likely a software error", but I reinstalled windows / all programs several times and it never fixed it, removing the RAM did fix it.
So ever since I installed a new GPU (HD 6890) my motherboard has been heating up like a motherfucker. Like, not the CPU (55-60C) but the motherboard itself, reaching up to 70C before the really loud, obnoxious fans kick in. Would the heat from the GPU be causing this? And if so, would it be a good idea to replace the case fan with something more powerful to cool things down?
How many aren't free? (Unless they call to landlines)
Besides, Teamspeak 3 isn't bad either.
Teamspeak and Ventrilo both require licences to do certain things. Mumble is completely free, so you could do or host whatever you want with it.

Your motherboard's temp might be more near what your CPU is, and 55c is hot for a AM3 CPU. You might have just knocked the heatsink loose or something.
What are the alternatives to Spotify Premium
Can I run three monitors using any combination of my Intel HD3000 and my HD5570? (not for games, just for other programs)
It's usually a BIOS setting.
Can anyone explain why I have 8 GB of RAM, but in task manager, on the Performance tab it says:
Physical Memory (MB)
Total 8141
Shouldn't it be 8192 (1024 x 8) ?
Pretty sure it says 8192 in BIOS.
Edit: Asked a friend and he says his says 8154, so I guess it's normal for it to be slightly less?

Probably reserved by integrated graphics. An IGP will usually "steal" a few megabytes of RAM, as it has no memory of its own. It's commonly only 16-64MB. If you've got an Intel chip with integrated video, or if your motherboard chipset does video, it's probably that.
in the midst of all of these complicated questions i now ask

The only name I could find for it was an A/B Cable.

The connector on the left is USB-A, the one on the right USB-B.
USB is an asymmetrical link - a cable "flows" one way, and has different plugs at different ends to keep it that way, an A and a B plug. They also come in standard, mini- and micro-USB sizes, sometimes different for each.
The only common A plug is the "standard", while standard B plugs are often used for printers and other large USB devices, while micro-USB B plugs are common for phones or other small devices.

What to upgrade.
I know you're going to say SSD, but my steam folder won't fit. :v:

You can install steam games to different directories so you could shove some on an HDD and some on an SSD I think.

You can seriously split the install paths now?
Edit: So you can! Gee now this changes things.

Slacker Radio. The free version lets you stream stations for free with ads and 6 skips per hour or something. The $4/month version (Which I use) is the same, though with no ads, unlimited skips and it gives you the option to cache a station on your phone to play offline or use when you don't want to eat up your data plan. You can use the $10/month version to stream albums, individual songs and stations with only that artist in it.
I'm really liking it so far, though I can't really justify the $10/month one at the moment.
Does anyone else suddenly not have sound coming from any flash plugins in firefox? both me and a friend of mine are having this issue, its very strange. html5 video and shit works fine, and the same plugin works on chrome.
Is Unity a good place for first time game development? I'm not the best programmer but I'd like to learn it. Seems to have a lot of tutorials and shit.

It's alright, you can do quite a bit with it. But the free version is quite limited.
The documentation and such is where it shines I suppose.

So, my Dell Studio XPS 9100 just plummeted to the ground from my cabinet, and the top now has a solid orange light on the power button.
What does it mean? I can't get a conclusive answer from Google.
Also, I'm posting this from the Dell, so obviously it's working.

Search for cool sound-guys-help,
I am at the moment building my own speaker with extra stuff (Portable, built in amplifier etc).
But my question is, does those round port/holes make any huge difference when it comes to sound?
And if yes, does diameter, length and such matters for fine tuning?
It's just if it's something I should consider as I would like to get as most out of the thing as possible (Both sound wise, but also building wise :v:)

Tangential question, but my CCC doesn't have any of those options, even though I have the latest version:

Those options aren't available on every single card, especially if you have an OEM built system.
