How do I reset the origin point in Blender? or center it again. Everytime I extrude and then scale it goes to one side.
Regarding Spotify: Do ads still play when playing local media? Because if so that's fucking stupid.
Made a thread a bit ago about this, but I'll post it here as well. Probably more suitable for this thread.
I've been wanting to buy a racing wheel for games on my PC, but can't decide what is good and what is bad. I have no knowledge of them beyond what my friend would say when he played in Nascar racing tournaments. I'm wanting the ability to play all current racing games as well as some older ones. (Especially NFS: Underground 2) Don't really want to spend more than $50 either. Is this a viable option?
yeep
Could go offline session though. I don't think it plays there.
Is there any portable versions of apertium? I need it offline.
Since this is my first time buying a OS.. is there any limitations to a OEM version of 8?
Is there a way to use certain processes as microphone outputs? I'd like to stream some music over voice chat, but having 'Stereo Mix' means it outputs whatever other audio is being made, like other voices, causing an echo effect. Just using audio from Chrome or Windows Media Player, for example.

I'm upgrading from an ASUS P8H61-MX board to the ASUS P8Z77-M PRO, will I have to reinstall windows when I do the swap?
I'm upgrading from an ASUS P8H61-MX board to the ASUS P8Z77-M PRO, will I have to reinstall windows when I do the swap?
more than likely yes, motherboard swaps do all kinds of crazy shit to windows installs
Why am I getting windows updates every time I shut down my computer? It's pissing me off.
Why am I getting windows updates every time I shut down my computer? It's pissing me off.
It's likely for either: A: Windows Defender (built into Win7) and/or possibly B: MS Office Outlook Junk email filter updates
I think they're the same updates every time but I've never bothered checking. I never used to get updates so frequently.
Windows Defender definition updates are issued daily, and probably Outlook's junk email filters as well.
That is very annoying.
I've seen a lot of people using this Windows Aero theme, can anyone direct me to it? I don't know what it's called and it looks super nice. [editline]27th April 2013[/editline] And I don't mean the Foobar 2000 theme either. This is just an example that I found laying around. [editline]27th April 2013[/editline] It would seem to be Shine 2.0
So I'm looking for a new laptop for college. Luckily, I won a $500 best buy gift card at my prom and so I'm definitely set on getting something in the 1000s. I'm going into Music Technology so my laptop has to be capable of running software like Protools and Sibelius and other basic things (maybe run a steam game or two). I'm definitely interested in something that is touch capable and has SSD with a good processor and decent battery life. I've been looking into the Dell XPS, the one that flips into a tablet. However, the battery life is pretty off putting, and it's been out long enough where they might release a new model soon. It's still up in the air, but I'm definitely open for more recommendations. Also, going to need a good external harddrive to carry my samples. Right now I only have 40 gigs, but I'm expecting a lot more. Any recommendations?
I recently built a computer and the HDD that has my copy of activated Windows 7 is dying Does that mean I have to buy another copy of Windows 7 for my new HDD?

Why is my laptop screen excreting sticky clear goop around the edges? It's really annoying because it starts clear but gets all gray and brown after a while and its rubbing off or eroding the paint from the chassis It wasn't even much of a problem at first but every time I open my laptop I swear there's more of the stuff.
Is there a way to restore from 6.1 to 6.1 in iPhone 4s? I want to restore to clean my device but be able to jailbreak later. I have the blobs saved, but I don't think you can anymore. Can someone confirm?
my laptop keeps heating up when doing nothing but the internet. It uses that thing where it switches between the dedicated and integrated GPU for doing certain tasks. Even when the GPU isn't being used for anything, my laptop is heating up and the fan is going nuts when it's usually silent. what's causing this? if I leave it alone for too long it heats up so much that it bluescreens.
-snipped- nevermind, i got it fixed
I want to buy a notebook for around 500€, any suggestions?

I'm going to be putting together a build for my brother. Are Zotac's cards at the same level of reliability as some other brands? I just have no experience with them and they seem slightly cheaper than other brands. Anything to be aware of?
