Does anyone know if wireless chargers are safe?
It's these things

I'm tired of using these shitty apple cords that break easily, and I'm wondering if this is a wise and SAFE investment. But the looks of it, it doesn't seem safe, but what do I know?

This happens if you have a motherboard that supports hotplugging (adding/removing drives while powered on). You can probably disable it in the BIOS if you want.
Do people like or dislike windows on the side of PC cases?
I personally always have one so I can check on dust levels to see when it's time to clean it out

they're perfectly safe, but for an iPhone that doesn't natively support wireless charging, you'll need to always have a case on it for it to work

You have to have your cable management PERFECT, no minor details are allowed. And the glass makes it more noisy. (I have foam where a glass could be as well, so that's just extra silence)
Besides, get dust filters. Changed my GPU a few months ago. Man was I shocked to find no dust. (My filters do look stupid if you don't clean em out though. You just click em out even when running, so it's fine.)

Mines pretty much spot on, all cables are hidden away behind the metal thing the mother screws on to, and noise never bothers me as I wear headphones and almost always have music playing
I don't have dust filters on the front fans because it would be such a pain in the dick to reach and get them, I'd rather just take it out and spray it with compressed air when I notice a dust buildup

I just installed Linux Mint. Is there any way to make my mouse work, well, more like it does in windows? I'm bothered by the sensitivity and how jerky movements are. I already have sensitivity and acceleration down all the way.
I can run remote desktop software on a really shitty laptop, and still have all the power of my desktop, right? I'm looking to get a netbook to use around the house, when I don't want to be sitting at my desk, but I wanna make sure it'll work before I do.

Kinda, but you're going to be limited by your network connection.

Roll back ye' drivers.
And if you're using a dedicated soundcard, I've heard you can get some trouble with those. Driver support is apparently horrific in general, when it comes to sound cards.

format & reinstall
I highly doubt there is any other way.
Yeah, format and reinstall. To make it less painful if you aren't using this you should:

I'm trying to get "any" image capturing program to work, I've tried gyazo, puush, and share x so far. Wether it's a print screen of my entire desktop, current active window/monitor, it just doesn't work with any game running. Some people have noted that it sometimes work when you disable aero, I was wondering if there is some other way of fixing this, other than disabling aero.
I'm running windows 7 64bit, and most of my games in windowed mode.
Is it possible to remap my Scroll Lock button to immediately put my computer into sleep mode?
Preferrably without having to run extra applications in the background. Could it be done through the registry perhaps?
There's a program somewhere that lets you remap keys, it's a Microsoft thingus and works through the registry, I believe.
You could probably use that to remap your scroll lock key into a "sleep" button.

I tried an application called SharpKeys and it would let me remap Scroll Lock to a Sleep button. The remap obviously works since the Scroll Lock indicator doesn't light up when I press it. But the button doesn't put my computer into sleep, or do anything for that matter.

You maybe need to enable the sleep button in windows? go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\System Settings
Which 24" monitors are the best for around £100-140? I've found this but I'm not sure if it's the best option for the price or not.
For what use?
For what use?
Mainly browsing the internet and using creative software like Sony Vegas, although maybe rarely gaming - I already have a 19" television (1360x768) which I want to continue gaming with, but it's not the best thing for software use due to the lack of working space.

Why is it when I try to eject my portable USB HDD, Windows tells me something is using it when I've closed everything? It happens everytime.
