Would a 460W PSU be enough to power a GTX 660Ti and i7 2600 all stock clocks?
A good 460 watt can, what brand and model is it?
A good 460 watt can, what brand and model is it?
It's an OEM one inside this HP prebuilt; I'm not 100% confident in it.

Something Seasonic, Corsair, Silverstone or similar.

I just defragged with defraggler, started off with 33% fragmentation and came out with 37%. What happened? [editline]12th May 2013[/editline] Ah never mind, I reanalyzed and it went down to 22%. Still, isn't this kinda high?

Razer Deathadder 2013 :v: I love this thing to death.
Is there a way in sony vegas to input an array of numbers (say a column from an excel spreadsheet) and have it go through the numbers via text at a set rate? As in, output via text a set of data such as in this video's upper-right:
Reposting. Mike_013 said that I could possible do something like this if the data is in a .txt and I use scripting. Is this a thing that I could do? I don't want to make a new text event ever 0.25 second.
I didn't want to make a thread about this in case I'm just being paranoid. So I lightly dusted the fans and dust filters of my computer today and the I turned it on and started using it. Then I attempted to put it to sleep, and it just sat there at the blue hummingbird Windows 7 screen. I turned it off by holding down the power button. I turned it back on and it didn't POST at all for five minutes. After five minutes of waiting, the MSI splash screen finally displayed. Windows asked to please be booted in safe mode, so I did and system restored to earlier today. Question is, should I be afraid to turn it off now? [editline]12th May 2013[/editline] The card is a PowerColor 6770. My PSU is a Corsair CX500. [editline]12th May 2013[/editline] Will no one help?

Thanks, that's reassuring. [IMG]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/IMG]
Come on guys any recommendations for a new computer mouse?
Please don't listen to anyone about their recommendations, just go to a computer store and test them for yourself.
Please don't listen to anyone about their recommendations, just go to a computer store and test them for yourself.
Yeah, but then you still don't get to know about the extras.

How important is VRAM in a GPU? What situations would need more RAM? I noticed there are are cards that are basically the same, but have more/less RAM. Is 2GB average for a video card? I'm working on a build (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/X1cT) and I'm not sure if the GPU I have is the best choice.

The main effect will be texture resolution - if you "run out" of VRAM, games will either use lower-resolution textures, or worse, crash. 2GB is a pretty acceptable amount. 1GB would be low for some games, but might also be acceptable. 4GB and higher are overkill except at ludicrous resolutions. For the kind of build you're doing, either 1GB or 2GB would work, but if the price difference is only $30 or so, I would go for the 2GB version.
So I'm looking into getting a second monitor for general use. I'm probably never going to use it for games since I'm perfectly fine with one monitor for that and I'm not sure how well my PC would run at that high of a res anyway. This is my current monitor. I was looking at either this one or this one. They're both perfectly priced for me but I'm not sure if it's a better idea to get the one that's the same resolution as the one I have now or if I should get the 1080p one and use that as my main monitor. I don't know if having a 1600*900 and a 1080p monitor would be a bad idea or not so I could use some help. If there's a better monitor that's the same price fee free to recommend it. I just can't afford to go any higher than that price.

I'm at work, using two 1920x1080s and a 1600x1200. At home I use a 2560x1440 and a 1600x900, and I'm thinking of adding a 1920x1080 to the home setup. Windows can handle multiple resolution displays simultaneously. You can't really game across two screens, anyways. Your crosshairs would be in the bezel between the two - you wouldn't see anything. The only multi-monitor gaming setups are three monitors or six (3 across, 2 high). But in those cases, you *will* want the same resolution on all displays, preferably even identical displays (to minimize DPI issues and color reproduction differences).

This is on sale: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236176 If you don't plan on buying before that sale ends: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254100 If you are willing to spend a little more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005498
1680x1050 is bare minimum acceptable resolution IMO I use it because this monitor was $80 used and looked brand new, I think my next upgrade when i can afford it is going to be >1080p though
I cloned my hard drive and it appears to have combined all of the partitions of my main drive into one on the second drive. I can't boot to the drive and when I manually set the boot in easybcd, it appears to boot to the main drive somehow. I used driveimage XML to do it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/hNxs9BV.png[/t]
Come on guys any recommendations for a new computer mouse?
I got a SteelSeries Kana mouse. It was the first true "gaming" mouse I purchased and I haven't been disappointed yet. The DPI changing switch has its useful applications for a variety of scenarios, but overall I think the DPI gimmick is just that. Though the mouse feels great in my hand, it's smooth and has a nice weight. I don't like a lot of harsh edges on my periphs so this foot the bill.
The PSU could probably run it, but I would just buy a proper PSU. Something Seasonic, Corsair, Silverstone or similar.
That's what I would do. It's for a friend who wants to beef up his GPU, but he's not really up for replacing the PSU in his PC so it's not ideal for him. I advised him to buy a 550W OCZ PSU. It's 80+ bronze and has a single 12V rail so it shouldn't explode on him, plus it's got 3 year warranty.
