Alright, thanks.
The rig I'm looking to put together is gonna have an FX-6350, a Radeon 7770, and 8GB DDR3 1600, will this be satisfactory for most modern games at higher graphical settings?
It will do pretty decent, you may want to try to snag a used 660Ti/670 or 7850/7870 because the 7770 is getting slightly wimpy
Is the newest driver update for nvidia a safe one because I see a lot of complaints on there forums.
it's faaaar ouuut brah

YOU LIED TO ME
Ok so my flip phone is pretty terrible (Samsung SCH-U410) so I think it's time to get a new phone. I have a Verizon contract and so I'd prefer not to pay any extra money and just get one that they offer for free. Which would you guys recommend, because I really do not want to pay $100 or $200 for a phone.

i installed it and have had no problems with it.
I think the choices are Lucid 2, Iphone 4, Lumia 822, and Droid Incredible
Lucid 2 runs a Dual Core Snapdragon S4 and will probably be the fastest phone out of all of them.

any idea why my monitor does this whenever connected to my pc with hdmi? dvi works fine but I want to use my hdmi port for this monitor and then dvi for my other monitor that doesn't have hdmi. it's really fucking annoying.

there's a huge amount of room between what it displays and the bezel, and what it does display is really grainy and bad looking so i can't just deal with it
Go into your driver control panel and look for TV scaling or HDMI scaling. Set it to 100% or no Over/underscan.
Or go into the screen options and change the scaling to 100% or none.

How would I go about making a bootable USB stick for windows 7 via Disk Utility on my Mac? My Sister fucked up my Mom's laptop's instillation of Windows 7, I need to reinstall it.

You could download the right version of 7 which your mothers laptop uses as an ISO. You'll want WINRAR just to open it's contents. Just follow this if you can understand it all.
EDIT: You're using mac, but there should be a management utility for something similar on Mac OS. Surely... Read this and this?
I'm using Mountain Lion, and I downloaded the ISO from Digital River, I tried to burn it with Disk Utility but it says something like invalid arguement.
If youve downloaded them I think you should be able to just drag them on to the usb to use, provided the files are unpacked already.
Im assuming you guys didnt make any recovery disks eh?
Nope. So I can just peak inside the iso, drag the files in to the USB drive and it's bootable?
What are the differences between the thinkpads?
I've seen some costing loads and some costing very little
I'd like one that is able to play stuff like TF2 possibly and do college work but not cost fucktons

Explain a bit more? What models are you referring to?
Explain a bit more? What models are you referring to?
That's the thing, I literally don't know anything about them
I just know that people say "the thinkpad is good"
and it looks like a laptop

It's probably easier if you find the 14.1in version of this.
If not, I'm finding the Edge notebooks okay for either usage. Owned an Edge for 1 year until I sold it to buy an X131e.
I need a new monitor (or two if I choose the fairly cheap ASUS) and yes I could post this in PC building but I want a quick as possible answer as the coupon code with discount on one of the monitors ends on sunday and I could possibly get a quicker answer here.

I love my U2412M, the only thing I dislike is the rather agressive AG coating.

I cant find either of the Asus monitors on tftcentral, damn
[editline]25th May 2013[/editline]
I guess it really depends whether you want;
-really good response time
or
-dual monitors
or
- more vertical space and accurate colours.

If you just need a laptop for word processing and the likes, go for an older T series thinkpad
If you want a little bit more beef, go for the newer X series.
Avoid the E series at all costs
Windows 7 or 8 for my new gaming build?
Windows 7 or 8 for my new gaming build?
8 is way faster, use StartIsBack if you like the start menu
(don't argue about start menu vs metro please)
Windows 7 or 8 for my new gaming build?
I liked 8's raw speed but after a few months I decided to switch back to 7 for the simplicity of it because I used RocketDock to organize my shit anyway and metro was just a bit cluttery
it is mostly personal preference but 8 is faster and 7 is simpler

If I were to get a dual tower heatsink then it'd probably be http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011 at the same price. What are some good low RPM fans to run push pull with on the EVO? I want it to be kind of quiet too, but honestly anything is better than the stock fan.
