Or Arctic Cooling MX4, no break-in period and it's non-conductive
So my mom ordered(she lives in UAE and is going to visit me next week) a Lenovo IdeaPad Z500, because there are no other (good) laptops on sale in UAE with the price tag $900 and below, and shit, it has Intel HD Graphics 4000...Is there any other laptop with similar specifications and price tag? Intel HD Graphics 4000 is pretty bad for me, considering I need a laptop for gaming and applications like 3Ds Max, SFM. Google couldn't help.
The 4000 is decent
No it isn't. I had it on my old laptop and it sucked. Yeah, you may be able to play most games on Low, but it's a pretty terrible card.
What's the best manufacturer for AMD video cards I should go with if I'm looking for a 7770?
The case I bought has spots for 5 120mm fans and includes one. Would it be overkill to fill the other 4 spots?

ASUS, Sapphire
How the hell do I get a router to use Class C network, yet support 700 hosts? Some really stressed out people asked me how to setup a Class C network with 700 hosts, yet I can't find any way to do it on a class C, only A and B.
Either it's painfully obvious, or people have misread their tests.
As far as I know that's not possible.

You're right, you can't do it. A class C network can only use 256 addresses (254 if you're using subnet masking).
EDIT: I think you could support 700 hosts by using multiple class C networks, which I think would require multiple routers. But don't quote me on that; I'm a programmer who only took one networking class.

Fuck yeah, thanks, but that kinda worries me if the task means you're supposed to be super clever and grab another router from the bin and set it up.
I'm going to buy a Haswell i7 in the next month (announce/release due on the 4th June apparently). With overclockers as my reference point, will Haswell work with Intel 2011 (X79) and 1155 (Z77) boards, or just X79?
Motherboards I've always had little knowledge about. While I'm here, good brands to recommend for one? I need something reliable, not much else I could specify, so cheaper the better. Thanks.
Haswell is not going to fit in 1155 or 2011. It's in its own category (LGA 1150)
Neither, Haswell will use the LGA 1150 socket which will be released along with the CPUs.
fucking Intel and their fucking sockets, I don't think it's that hard to choose a standard and stick with it but they probably wanna sell more chipsets
(I understand new sockets are needed sometimes to add more pins and change to better technologies like LGA, but releasing an incompatible socket with fewer pins? wat)

more pins != better
Oh boy, and I thought 2011 X79 was pricey! Thanks for clearing that up guys.
I just migrated to an SSD, how do I check if the Samsung Tool aligned the SSD properly?

It's to avoid incompabilities with newer changes

I'm making a little DVD for a few classmates for mine and I need to change the format so it can work on PC's and Macs and on DVD players. What's the best format to convert my raw video files to?

what do you mean aligned
all you gotta do with SSDs really is make sure it's running good firmware, make sure your pagefile is on a physical disk if you have one, that's the best life you'll get outta it
I'm probably forgetting something obvious
Something about sectors beginning exactly at the begin of a memory cell, I don't really know.
Oh that's way outta my knowledge. Though with digital media I don't think it really matters? I dunno. Could still totally be wrong.

MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, XFX (their customer service isn't great, but the chances that you will need to use it are minimal)
Does a normal Dualshock 3 PS3 Bluetooth controller work with regular bluetooth drivers that comes with the dongle or would I need custom?
It's to be used with x360ce and I'm not interested in installing MotionInJoy at all.

Is this a good power supply? I know it isn't modular, but I need to keep costs down. Will 600w be enough for an FX-6300, a GTX 650 Ti, and the other bits?

I would just plug it in pcpartpicker.com it gives you a rough estimate of how much you are pulling

Needs custom drivers, and the one that comes with MIJ is the only driver i've ever had thats worked.

That's maybe 250w max if you have a lot of hard drives and fans, less if not.
