What? Reds are not expensive lol. At my microcenter I can get a 3TB red for 150 bucks, while a 2TB black will set you back 180 bucks
Well that's microcenter, wizards of pricing. All over in the etailers I look Reds are top range, close to blacks though.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339 If I'm mostly just using my computer for gaming and music, would the Black be worth the extra money? They're both 7200 RPM, 1TB, 64MB cache.
The black will mostly be better in throughput but you probably won't notice a difference for games. If you were recording video to it the black might be more worth it.
I'll probably just go with the Blue. On to the next question: Will I survive on the stock heatsink with an AMD FX-6350 if I don't have any plans for OCing?
Well you said you game, so I'd recommend an aftermarket cooler then Nothing flashy though

Hey fellas, I'm not too good at valuation myself but anyways I'm thinking of selling my tower and migrating to a notebook or at least a smaller desktop PC (for reasons). Anyways tell me what you reckon I could get for this set up: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (3.2GHz, not overclocked) G.Skill 4x2GB DDR3 at 1666MHz Sapphire Radeon HD5830 1GB 1TB HDD @ 7200RPM and 500GB HDD @ 7200RPM 750w Antec Earthwatts power supply Some bland Cooler Master case a Gigabyte motherboard (forgot what exactly it was) And software (all valid, legally bought): Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student (student licence) Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Design Premium (student licence) And other hardware: Logitech MX518 (a bit worn out but still fully functional) Some cheap $10 piece of shit keyboard Logitech LS21 (2.1) sound system Acer 18.5 inch monitor (1366x768) Plantronics GameCom 367 closed-ear headset (I really like this though so I might keep it) Also keep in mind that I'm in Australia, but yeah anyone have any good valuation for all of that? I'm guessing that because of the extra software and hardware thrown in I could get around about $800 out of it (yet again, keeping in mind Australian prices). I think the two Microsoft licences will have no problems with transferring to someone else but I'm not sure about the Adobe licence. I have no need for the Creative Suite anyways as I have finished my Multimedia studies and am not pursuing a career in it.
What settings should I use in Sony Vegas 12 to get a good quality Quicktime (On Mac) playable MOV/MP4 file? The sourcefile is a MP4 video from a Galaxy S3 camera and it won't play on my friends Mac at all (even though Quicktime play MP4) so I need to make it a Quicktime MP4/MOV. Problem is it looks like absolute shit as a Mov file, like 240p while the source is 1080p.

Sony AVC MP4 has a tendency to reduce brightness of rendered videos.
Is the Samsung Galaxy 4 a decent phone to get? I'm looking to purchase a new phone sometime before the end of the month. No way I want to get an iPhone 5 (so many bad fucking experiences with the iPhone 4). If not the S4, what other phones would you recommend? Have a Nexus 7 tablet and I absolutely love Android.
Get it

But Sony AVC is pretty shit.
I didn't want to upgrade my GPU for another two years, though not being able to use three monitors with my 560 really sucks. And since I'm using a mini-ITX board, I can't just throw in another card. I don't want to use USB to DVI adapters, since I don't trust the random manufacturers to put out decent drivers. So, what's a good card that supports 3 monitors and is about the performance of my 560? A quieter cooler would be appreciated. EDIT: Looking at this right now: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-125-447 650Ti, big-ass fan, $130, and SHOULD support 4 screens. Anything better?

PLS vs IPS?
Well then, I guess I don't need to buy ANYTHING to have more than two monitors. Thanks Ivy Bridge integrated graphics! That said, my current card literally sounds like a hairdryer when playing certain games. Even after doing an RMA. A lower TDP card like the 650 ti might be an idea.
Quick question to ask, hopefully someone here knows whats wrong: So I am streaming with Livestream procaster and it keeps randomly causing my computer to crash to a bluescreen with a hardware failure. It never does this except when I am streaming. How can I fix this?
It's doing a 16-235 conversion. Add a levels and do a computer to studio RGB conversion before hand and it will be fine. But Sony AVC is pretty shit.
I haven't had any problems with it. What's better? It's the only stock codec that I actually like.

Anything better?
I'm eyeing this up for my Micro ATX build here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121686 I don't know if it is too long for you but it is a little cheaper after the rebate, I believe amazon has free ship on it right now too. Edit: I know I've been pestering this thread a lot with questions but I'm almost done I promise! I'm building a small Micro atx build, i5 3750k in it, wanting to use it to its full potential, maybe a little overclock, I'm struggling to find a good cooler. I have about 3-4 inches of clearance for coolers that limits me to stock cooler, a flat zalman one, or one from the case manufacturer that feeds up into the power supply: (top view) The base is solid copper around the heat tubes, with a little aluminum sink on top of the bottom too. I'd probably have push-pull going, fan push from bottom, psu fan pulling. But it's 45 bucks for this proprietary heat sink. For a little more dough I can go for a closed loop water cool, I've been looking at corsair H50, H60 ect... If I get creative with a dremel I think I can fit the radiator half between the psu and the back of my dvd drive on the top of the case, or on the side. If I can fit it should I go for it? and do you think I would get better thermal performance out of one of them than that air heat sink? I'm also worried a bit about leaks of course.. What happens if it leaks?

One 1440p monitor or three 1080p?
One big screen is always nice but you'd be surprised how functionally advantageous multiple monitors can be.
What are some good, cheap 120mm case fans that come with a molex power plug or adapter? [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] Also, on a completely unrelated note, would I be fine running this PSU with an AMD FX-6350 and a Radeon HD 7850?

Maybe this?
Is there a site where I can compare the S4 to other mobiles? There was a site comparing the S3 to the iPhone 5 which was pretty nifty. Googling hasn't helped. It was an interactive site that had the comparisons side by side and showed which specs were better on which phone.
I would recommend the SeaSonic S12II 620W over that. It's got glowing reviews for its quality and acoustics and seasonic makes the base units for a lot of other brands.
Is it worth the extra money though? The Corsair is $58 (with that coupon code) with free shipping, while the Seasonic is $70 with $6 shipping.
just stick with the CX500, you're looking at a little over 250W load draw with that
So many conflicting opinions, but yeah, the 500 is ideal for me since it is affordable and modular.
