So, is it possible to send data, like mouse input, or audio output between two computers?
If it was over the same network it would be nice
Not sure about audio output but you can send inputs using a vnc.
Quick question! I am getting rid of my computer, as I don't really need the "power" of it anymore, and am downgrading to a AMD Phenom X4 965, 5850, 4gb of ram. What do you think I can sell this computer for, Speccy below.

Computer also has a Corsair 600T case, wires all tucked away neatly, Corsair 650w power supply, and a Corsair H50 water-cooler on the CPU.

I would start at $750-$800 OBO on Craigslist.
[editline]June 15th 2013[/editline]
Shit, forgot about the SSD's. I'd throw it up for $950 OBO.
Thats what I was thinking. About $1000 on Craigslist, and let either someone that doesn't know what is going on buy it, or let someone talk me down to $900.
does anyone know where to get a virus free link clicking bot with proxies? I need thousands of hits on a link. It's not for any illegal purposes or anything bad.
For some reason, when I boot my computer up/restart it normally, it doesn't run the monitors connected to my graphics card (it doesn't register the graphics card at all, in fact), just the one connected to my motherboard's VGA port. I have to then hold down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off and on again and only then do all the monitors work correctly.
Why is this happening?
Which monitor should I choose? I'd like something that isn't bigger than 24" and is IPS or similar. I've narrowed it down to these two:
Dell U2412M
[t]http://www.flatpanels.dk/billeder/dellu2412m_large1.jpg[/t]
Pros:
Moves in many mysterious ways
DVI, Displayport
USB hub
1920x1200
Cons:
No HDMI
Not the prettiest girl on the block
Asus MX239H
[t]http://www.asus.com/media/global/products/zZRAvMwYQkdCZG8L/Tny17pJx9xfKHFpF_1000.jpg[/t]
Pros:
Sexy
Thin bezel
HDMI (Comes with DVI adapter)
Cons:
120 fewer lines of pixel
Moves in only one mysterious way
I am torn between those two, because the Dell would be the obvious choice from a practical standpoint, but the Asus is much sexier. Both have around the same image quality, both are matte, both are around the same price.
Feel free to suggest other screens too.
I can vouch for the ultrasharp line, you won't be disappointed.
It's about what the peripheral does, not what it looks like. If you want looks go buy an Apple cinema display. :v:
the only issue I have with my u2412m is that the AG coating is noticable.

Sure, but if I can get a peripheral that looks good while not sacrificing any features useful to me at the same time, I'll take that. I'm not sure I'll ever use the pivoting, height adjustable stand of the Dell, but having it would still be nice.
People always complain when Teamspeak and other VoIP programs lower Windows sound when somebody is talking, but I'm doing the opposite. I want it to do that. I have the option enabled in my Windows sound options and it just doesn't work. Does anyone know why?
I found a plugin that apparently does the same thing, but it doesn't work with the latest versions of TS3.
Is it possible to downgrade this laptop (http://ca.asus.com/en/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K55VD/#specifications) from Windows 8 (I don't know if it's Windows 8 Basic or Pro) back to Windows 7 Ultimate? (If not, Professional)

No, you cannot downgrade Windows. You have to format the hard drive and reinstall the previous version of Windows.
Since that's an OEM machine, it may have a recovery partition that will put the machine back exactly the way it was when it was first purchased, but you would have to back up any of your personal data (music, pictures, etc) yourself before performing the recovery.
Is it possible to put my Windows 7 Ultimate CD into tray and reboot my PC to get the Windows 7 installation going? If possible, can you list the step by step things I have to do.

For the most part yes, but it will vary a bit depending on your computer manufacturer and also if you have an existing copy of Windows already.
So, who made your computer and does it have Windows on it already?
Would it be worth it to upgrade my 4890 to a 660?
My CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4 955.

And it is preloaded with Windows 8 (I don't know if it's pro or not)
Should I buy a GTX780 or wait for the price to go down?
Is there going to be a 4930K this year, will it possibly work in any old i7 2011 board?
What's a more relatable gauge for CPU performance than passmark's cpubenchmark.net?
Sorry about all the crazy questions.
I can see no way that their new flagship processor will be backwards compatible, and the 780's price won't go down for a long time. You may as well just get it now.
I can see no way that their new flagship processor will be backwards compatible
It fits in the same socket through. You could put the i7 970 into older boards and it's not going to be a flagship, just a 2nd tier to the 4960x.
Ok so the backplate for the H50 on my LGA775 board has adhesive pads that have bonded on a sub-atomic level. What's a cooler as good or better than it £100 or less. Water preferred as I have a Corsair 800D.
What is the cheaper AMD alternative to an i5-3570K? I'm using it for games and 3d editing software.
can anyone recommend some quiet, easy to install AM3/AM3+ heatsinks/water coolers?
price is no issue

that would be a pretty huge upgrade
that would be a pretty huge upgrade
Yeah, is it worth it though? I'm also worried that it might be bottlenecked by my CPU.

I would get something stronger than a 660. Maybe wait for 700 series instead? And yes, you're not going very far without bottlenecking your CPU
£50 budget for a keyboard. I game, write video edit and listen to music, so I'm an all rounder, but I'm a sucker for neat little gizmos and such

This is pretty nice but I wanted to get an opinion from you guys - what other good keyboards are there for this kinda price?
When is AMD supposed to release the Steamroller processors?

That's a bad keyboard.
I would suggest saving a little bit more for a mechanical keyboard, such as this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cooler-master-cm-storm-quickfire-rapid-mechanical-cherry-black-mx-gaming-keyboard
If you strictly can't, I'd suggest this a Logitech G105 or similar.
Would the Intel i7 4770k integrated graphics be more powerful for gaming than an Nvidia 210?
