That's a bad keyboard. I would suggest saving a little bit more for a mechanical keyboard, such as this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cooler-master-cm-storm-quickfire-rapid-mechanical-cherry-black-mx-gaming-keyboard If you strictly can't, I'd suggest this a Logitech G105 or similar.
http://shoppingboutique.eu/product/logitech-gaming-g510-920-002762-keyboard/ Is this good? Like I said - when it comes to keyboards, I'm a sucker for ricey stuff. I'm an addict :( [editline]18th June 2013[/editline] I'm not too fussed about mechanical keys - I'm not a heavy gamer or anything, and I'm happy with the way non-mechanical keyboards feel I'd love an LCD, like the g15
Is there any way that I can connect a component video cable to a VGA plug on my monitor? I really want to use my wii on my monitor. And yes I am ready to cut the cables and solder them together if necessary. All I could find is this but I'm not sure if this will really work. Both are analogue formats but those look like colourstream cables. Also I dunno how VGA to RCA would help with sound?
Both are analogue formats but those look like colourstream cables. Also I dunno how VGA to RCA would help with sound?
Sound is not a problem, I just plug the sound into my sound system.

Something like this would do the trick : http://www.ebay.com/itm/YPbPr-Component-to-VGA-Video-Audio-Converter-1080p-New-/350351497479?pt=US_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item5192939907
Right now I have two 570's in SLI, would it be worth it to sell them and pick up a 770 or 780? I don't really mind the noise or heat currently really just looking for performance.
imo 780 would be the way to go if you can afford it. Single card set ups are more optimized, not all games will use both of your 570's at the same time. Also a quick google search seems to reveal that the 780 is a huge step up from 570 sli
Nevermind the keyboard - my mouse is going faulty, so I'll prioritise that. £50 budget - what should I buy?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181030 is this a good and quiet water cooler?
Most of those closed loop water coolers are pretty loud. Is there any reason you want water or just something good and quiet?
i just want as silent as possible. i was just under the impression that all water coolers were like that. i'm tired of how loud the amd stock heatsink is
I have a H60i, and I don't hear it at all.
i just want as silent as possible. i was just under the impression that all water coolers were like that. i'm tired of how loud the amd stock heatsink is
I know this is tired advice, but look for a Hyper 212 Evo. They are pretty quiet running especially on cpus lower than their tdp.
What would be a good office chair to invest in? I have some shitty $50 office depot chair that is ripping. I'm going to buy a nice chair so that it will last me a long time.
Keep in mind that water coolers aren't magic. They don't just automatically make stuff cooler using the power of water. They have big radiators, which cool the water using fans. Water coolers and regular air coolers both use fans, and the brands of these coolers matter just as much as any other computer component. Personally I find it annoying when people look to water coolers for their apparent efficiency and quietness and just go for the Corsairs because they're mainstream. There are lots of different closed-loop systems, and remember that just because they're "closed loop" doesn't mean that they won't/can't leak, because they do.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352020
Fuck man I'm way too lazy to take out all my stuff and put it in a new case... I'll keep that in mind though.
Thinking of buying a Samsung chromebook. Is it possible to change the SSD in it with a mSATA SSD? If so, how would I get chromeOS back on the laptop? And is it possible to swap RAM on it, 2gb seems kind of small.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352020
I fit two 240mm rads in this case, and its dead silent with the fans on low. Excellent case, especially for water.
What RSS program can handle a site that requires a login(vbulletin forum)? I thought live bookmarks(firefox) would send your cookies along but I guess not. Also the feed doesn't prompt for a username/password. Instead the feed just uses the cookies to verify that you are logged in.
I posted this question already (previous page) and received not much help. Here we go again. I want to downgrade my laptop (http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_577_369&item_id=054313) from Windows 8 to Windows 7. Drivers would not be much of a issue as I can go to Asus' website to download the drivers (http://ca.asus.com/en/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K55VD/#download). Only concern now is... how can I do the downgrade successfully (I'm worried that I will lose all control of the laptop without the drivers) and I need the necessary steps into doing this successfully.

When you go to install Windows 7, do a custom install, delete the Windows 8 partitions and install to the free space.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254080 I need a budget monitor, will this one do? It's currently on sale.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254080 I need a budget monitor, will this one do? It's currently on sale.
I have that exact monitor. It's pretty good for that price - no glaring input lag, color problems or ghosting. Biggest thing to be aware of is that the base is pretty wide, might make it clumsy to fit on some desks. Other than that, it's a decent monitor for a low price.
Oh god I'm back again, I had some controversy about the version of my CPU cooler, later versions come with the 1155 bracket while earlier ones don't. Amazon gave me the earlier version and as such the bracket doesn't sit flush on the back, or the cpu for that matter. I'm really impatient and don't want to wait weeks talking to the company for a new bracket, can I just drill out two holes that are blocking it in the backplate? Here is the backplate I need, the circled bits are the parts in the way now on the current bracket, which is probably 775 ect... Other than that, the holes would match up and everything works very well, thanks for your help everyone!
Yeah, that should work.

The 770 has similar performance to a 680. I'd say yes, if you're going fo for the GTX780.
anyway to use my fingerprint scanner on my 9150 to log in to websites?
