Looking for a good ts3 overlay plugin for various games, all the ones i've found searching look like crap. Does anyone have experience with a good one?
Man;41657665']So I just got a 3Tb Seagate Backup Plus Drive, is it worth using the Seagate Dashboard 2 software it comes with, all it does is allow me to set up backup schedule's and things like that? I ask because the 3 times I have tried to back up today I got a BSOD (Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (storport.sys)) about half way through, it could also be the new nvidia beta drivers causing it but I was not playing any games when it happened. Edit: I'm running Windows 8 on an Samsung 840 pro ssd (Boot), Samsung 830 ssd for games and a few apps, WD 1tb drive for regular apps and documents, music, videos And an older 1tb drive as a makeshift backup/storage for misc. I am trying to back all of these up as the hdds are 2+ years old, I have tried not backing up the windows directory as I heard that can cause issues but I still get the bsod, I tested the nvidia beta drivers and can confirm that is not the case. Would I be better off manually backing stuff up and managing it instead of the Seagate dashboard?
I never rely on the bundled software, Windows can probably set up the backup for you just fine.
Even 41, kernel power. "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." Shocker. Thank you. It hasn't done it in bios, but sometimes during the restarts, it resets my bios. I think that's a feature or something. I have one of the best psu's and I will be severely disappointed if this is the case. It's weird how I can stress test just fine, then web browse and shut off. I have been buying asrock boards for years, never had a problem. My registry is clean.
Have you checked the RAM? Also, do you put your PC in standby or shut it down? What programs do you normally run in the background?
Yes... But you've already got what you need. You can look up information, view maps, get turn-by-turn directions... And you WON'T SPEND ANY UNNECESSARY MONEY. Not trying to sound like a jerk there, it's just the most practical solution. Get yourself a dashboard mount and a car charger, and you're set. Less junk, less stuff lying around, less having to worry about it dying in a year (and it will die in a year, trust me. GPS units are notoriously poorly-made). Do the environment, your sanity, and your wallet a favor. Don't buy a GPS.
Fuck the enviroment, if it is the sanity, it is fucked (and if it is with android, kind of easy) and yeah, I would do my wallet a favor, but this entire thing is my dad's request.
So, wanna upgrade this pc from Vista to 7, however my client wants their programs backed up and to be brought over to 7. Regular start up is broken, as soon it loads up after a minute in the desktop it freezes up. Safe mode does work but i cannot open the File Explorer window so i cannot install the English LP that is required to upgrade from Vista to 7. How can i upgrade to 7 without loosing my programs?
If you boot from the 7 install disk does it not give the option to upgrade?
I think thats only if you install it while inside of windows.
I think thats only if you install it while inside of windows.
Huh, I could have sworn it gave that option while booting from the disk. Must be remembering wrong.
I've been trying to re-enable Windows 7 Aero on my comp but for some reason it isn't working. I've tried installing custom themes before (replacing explorer.exe) and I don't know what to do now. I've used the default troubleshooter, a Microsoft fix and a method through cmd (uxsms service) and none of those have worked. I've tried rolling back my NVidia drivers but that still doesn't work. Help?

Ultimate 64bit

VentZer0 theme. I used the W7 Navigation Buttons Customizer that's from the door2windows website, a se7en file replacer & a Universal Theme Patcher. I'm guessing that this could be solved by restoring the original system files etc. but I don't have those original files
Hi there, could you recommend me a wifi router with NAT Loopback and long range? need it to cover 1000 square metres in a building, so there are walls and shit. also need nat loopback to have all computers access a server on the network seamlessly when they are inside or outside that network. Basically i want to be able to walk anywhere in that building with a tablet, without having to switch WiFi hotspots, and without having to use a different IP to access the server while I'm not in the building.

If you don't have your windows DVD, you can get an .ISO from microsoft themselves and burn it to a DVD or flash drive.

Hey, I seem to be having issues with my computer whenever I play Guild Wars, I'll play and then out of nowhere my main monitor turns black. Usually my second monitor turned black but this time it turned yellow, I have to restart my computer once this happens. Someone said it could be a PSU issue but a Corsair AX750 should be able to handle a GTX570 and an i5 2500k, anyone know of any fixes? really making me angry. I upgraded my drivers to the latest ones but it still happens.
What is the best GPU for around $300 at the moment? I haven't bought hardware in ages.
What is the best GPU for around $300 at the moment? I haven't bought hardware in ages.
There's the 7950 and GTX 760, maybe you can find a 670 for 300ish
Is there an easier way to unbend processor pins than tweesers and a credit card?
Is there a way to connect this to a computer? I bought one and I can't get it to work. At the moment it's connected to a DVI-I port with DVI-VGA and VGA-RCA adapters, am I doing everything wrong here?
Is there an easier way to unbend processor pins than tweesers and a credit card?
Take at 0.5 or 0.7mm mechanical pencil and put it over the pin

Run it straight from a VGA port, tell us what happens.
What would be the highest I could go in terms of video cards with an AMD Phenom II x4 965 without bottlenecking too much?
Have you considered you're trying to convert digital to analog? Run it straight from a VGA port, tell us what happens.
DVI-I and DVI-A are both capable of transmitting analog signals necessary for VGA conversion, but assuming he's only using passive adapters, the problem won't be solved by running straight out a VGA port. They just updated Chrome and made all add-on icons hide in a menu. It shows that when you pull them to beside the menu, they just dis-appear. Is there any way to get them back beside the address bar? I feel really fucking stupid asking this.

The converter outputs to NTSC or PAL televisions. The ebay page does not specify what standard it may be using, but it's a fair assumption it will be compatible.
Something is really fucked up with my computer. Specs: i5 3570k @ stock clocks Asus P8Z77-V LK 2x4GB 1333MHz G.Skill RAM Sapphire HD7850 Corsair CX600 Some Samsung 750GB HDD. 2x 1280x1024 screens, one plugged into the GPU and other into the IGP. Now, I recently started having fuck-ups with sound. Like, random bzz-s etc. Updating sound drivers didn't do jack. It came a month after I upgraded my PSU and the GPU from a noname 500W and a HD4650. Today I booted up my PC and the screen (again, has happened a few days ago too) was white with different colored stripes going through it, like artifacts. Only on the screen connected to the GPU though. PC was frozen. Haven't had any artifacts in games though. Only in sound. A few days ago I was playing WOT and my PC completely froze. Before I had the same problem with BF: BC2 all the time, haven't had the time to play that recently. Recently games have been running 2 times slower. Looking at the process usage and shit, CPU is usually around 70% (Also having Chrome open with a bazillion tabs, including FB (MEMORY LEAK YOO) and YT) and GPU hovers around 50%. When I got the GPU, I didn't have these problems. Before: FPS in SR3 - 60+fps all the time maxed out FPS in WOT - 80+fps all the time maxed out Now: FPS in SR3 - 30-40fps, sometimes gets a bit higher. FPS in WOT - 40-60fps, sometimes gets a bit higher. GPU usage ~50-60% Now, temps are fine: GPU: 32C idle, under 60C full load. CPU: 40C idle, 85C full load what could be the cause of these random fuckups? Should I try reinstalling windows and then start to RMA shit? Or what, because I think the mobo might be fucking up (Sound, the buzz came from different ports too, might be the chip fucking up) or RAM just shitting itself (Haven't had any signs of that recently)
Can your power supply support the GPU? It could be crashing because the thing isn't getting enough power in boot/high stress environments.
Now, temps are fine: CPU: 40C idle, 85C full load
err I wouldn't really call that "fine"
When I start up my desktop and open chrome, it will openaanotherwwindows a few seconds later. It's really annoying since I lose focus on what I'm doing and need to close the extra windows. Any ideas?
Disable the extra windows opening in settings?
I only have one page set to open and the problem only happens when I first get to the desktop after starting my computer. If I open it afterwards, I don't get the extra window.
