Not sure to take this to the mouse or this thread but here goes: I have the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 4000, and the wheel button has some delay yet the other buttons don't. After heavy searching google, I came up with nothing. I think it could because of microsoft mouse and keyboard center, but even with it uninstalled, it doesn't make a difference. Any ideas how to fix this?
but then you have to screw shit into your wall instead of just clamping it down to a table
You can get two table clamp mounts...
which added up cost the same as a dual mount?
which added up cost the same as a dual mount?
Nope. Dual mounts are at the lowest, 60+.

Mine doesn't have any delay on the scrolling. It's a smooth scroll though, so it's different.
Make sure the SATA port meant fro the mSATA drive isn't in use
I tried removing all other drives, every SATA port was empty so it shouldn't be that.

It's not the scrolling that has a delay but the clicking of the wheel.

Oh neat!
So you would say that's a good one there?

well I guess the reviews do
I've been having a problem with Google sites not loading the first time I try to access them, until I refresh the page when it fails to load. I even tried switching to Google DNS and it hasn't helped. Using Chrome with Windows 8 so I find it a little odd. Firewall's off, and the only AV I'm using is Windows Defender (MSE)
edit:
also happens at home and at GF's place

You say that and then link to monoprice which sells a dual monitor mount for $40

I'm having a weird issue with chrome and Nvidia surround. When I maximize a window, it's supposed to be resized to fit the monitor it's maximized it on, so that it behaves like it would with three separate monitors. It works with all windows I've tried it on, apart from chrome. Chrome windows have the correct size, but are off center by about the same amount as the taskbar width.

Anyone have a solution for this? Google didn't turn up much. It seems to work fine when the taskbar is at the bottom of the screen, but that looks stupid (and it keeps moving to the middle monitor when I play games that use bezel compensation).

I saw that but was afraid because my monitors are 23.6
I saw that but was afraid because my monitors are 23.6
Multiple reviewers used a 24 inch and it was fine, as long as it's not a heavy 24 inch it'll probably be fine.
I've got a hypothetical question that I haven't been able to find an answer to.
Say, for example, I wanted to create my own ARM device. I've got everything designed and ready to go, all I need to do is buy the parts.
Where and how do I buy these parts? I can't just order a Snapdragon 800 or a Tegra 3 SoC from DigiKey, or their websites. Do I have to go through a manufacterer? Are there companies I can order these parts through? Since these chips have to be soldered by a machine, do I just get the PCB made and tell them what parts I want?
Again, hypothetical, but it's something I've been wondering and I can't find an answer to it.
I think you contact the SoC manufacturer and make a deal.
So a laptop fell and the harddrive got damage that is not visible on the surface but has lots of errors reported (as I understand- in memory partitions, like 27410-ERROR) as I ran a diagnostic disc. What can be done to fix this?

If it's still under warranty, send it back. Other than that, there's not really much you can do.
Quick question:
I know that running SRCDS under a virtual environment is not the best of ideas, But should I go for OpenVZ or KVM?
I'm having problems forwarding ports on my router, tp-wr720n v4.20. I apparently need port 27015 open to host a Cry of Fear server? I've tried Hamachi and get absolutely horrible ping with it.
Anyone have a guide on forwarding ports for my specific router, or could I install dd-wrt or tomato or something like that on it to make it easier?
I just bought a new Western Digital 1tb sata hard drive and as soon as I turned the power on there was a bit of smoke and the computer doesn't recognize the drive.
any idea what happened?

Obviously, you released the magic smoke... It's the spirit of the Emperor manifest in electronics. An Inquisitor will be along shortly.
Seriously, though, something exploded. Your computer is probably mostly fried. Have fun with that.
So i'm in the market for a new wireless network adapter. Any recommendations?
Has Lenovo's Parts Lookup page been left to rot? Form submission just takes me back to the form - shonky JS seems to be at hand.

Airport Express. 10/100 Ethernet speeds, 100mbps throughput. $99.
(Yes, I know it's a router. Bridge mode is a thing.)

that's pretty fucking slow. Even my laptop does 300-450mbit.
Also 802.11a + 100mbit link is pretty dumb
Our ISP has said our new house is eligable for 100mbps fibre optic, and they'll supply us with two routers. How much of a difference would two routers make over one?
And this is the time everybody realizes I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Still yet, I'm using an Express as a wireless adapter, and I get these speeds, so it's not terribly bad... And it supports all the wireless devices in my room simultaneously. We're also only paying for a 30mb/s plan, so take that as you will.

Good cheap keyboard that would work fine for gaming (good key rollover)? Like, my laptop KB I can't move backwards and left while crouching. Preferably cheap, or I'll just go grab a Dell Quietkey - those work great.
Cheap wired 5 button mouse?
What's the relevance of "fermi" in nvida card chipsets?
Can I use a fermi and non-fermi (assuming there is a non-fermi) in SLI?
[editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
I know I have a GTX560 Ti 2GB (not sure about the fermi part), and I want to buy a second card but it's GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 2GB.
Is there any significant difference that will fuck up an SLI scheme?
