Ok, I got the info on english.

or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162130
Which one is better?
The Newegg one, has 1 more GB of V-Ram, and you also get a 75 dollar game coupon from the looks of it. The Amazon has a slightly higher clock speed but you can easily make up the distance by yourself
Find your Windows install disk and go to town.
Actually it's not that bad. Once I got rid of the remaining NVIDIA's stuff and reinstalled AMD's, Aero-effects and the color themes came back, and games were able to actually launch again.
But as for the temperatures, it appears the 6970 in particular really does heat up, and people resort to stuff like MSI Afterburner, ATI Tray tools, SpeedFan etc, and the very Max temp. of these things is up to like 110c, although that's definitely danger zone.
All this still doesn't explain the bug where my widescreen monitor would go black for a second. The problem disappeared when I put the monitor into an older PC and ran stuff like Chivalry.
Those temps are not good
Those temps are not good
No I don't get 110c, I just heard it's the maximum temp for this card. I played around with Hitman Absolution with maxed out graphics, except on smaller screen, and it didn't go anywhere near as high as 100c, more like 70 at best.
I just switched from a Radeon card to a Nvidia card (I reset xorg and all that jazz before continuing). When booting into Lubuntu, I get this.

This also happens when I boot into Lubuntu on a live CD.
Here's some more specific specs -

Except, y'know, Lubuntu Raring 13.04.
Which nvidia drivers are you using? Does it happen if you switch to the other ones?
(SSH in from another computer or your phone to switch)
I'm at my nan's this weekend on her PC (Which is essentially mine) and brought along my Trust Microphone to do some let's play videos. Unfortunately it sounds really quiet on my videos, even with Microphone Boost enabled in sound settings. Is there any real-time microphone amplification software available for Windows?
At first I thought those lines were your desktop wallpaper :v:

Could he printscreen that, I'd like to use it as mine.
Would a Sata 3gbps SSD work in a Sata 6gbps connection, and would it run at that speed?
It would work, but it will still be a 3Gbps drive
can somebody recommend me a good mic that'll pick up my voice, I don't mind needing a stand or a filter or those gubbins for it, as long as it's accessible during gaming

shit voice sample with shit mic if that helps
Not sure if I posted it before, but does anyone know where I can find some nice themes for Windows 8 affecting the appearance of the taskbar and window borders?

You know, for consumer-grade hardware, the Samson Meteor and the Yeti Blue are both pretty good. The Meteor has integrated pop filter, the Blue doesn't.
Which of these displays are better?

At the moment I'm leaning towards the first one because it has Freeview HD capabilities built in but I can get a tuner for my PC if I get the second one so it's not the end of the world in that respect. If it helps I would like to see good colours, contrast and black levels because I'm a bit of a CRT person.

What will you be using these monitors for?
Because, it depends really. If you're more into the TV factor and want to just use a quick, good screen to use then the TV would be good as you can switch to some channels after.
I got a thinkpad e531. When I boot it up, it beeps, shows this for a second or two, then continues to boot normally. What should I do?

You should probably check the fan.
Just a wild guess.
Called their tech support. fan needs to be replaced so I have to mail it in to them to get it fixed. fuck

It's better that way since you keep your warranty. But if your warranty is already gone, you could just put in the replacement yourself.
Will 60FPS (or lower) look worse on a 120hz monitor than it would on a 60hz monitor?
I'm asking because I have the money to pick up a 120hz monitor and it's going to be for both PC and PS3 use, but I'm not sure if the PS3 is going to look terrible on it since most games run at 60 or even 30FPS.
When having a dog lick peanut-butter off of your genitalia-area, should you use Chunky or Creamy?
Facts!
I heard that chunky feels better, but can cause the dog to bite you.
What do you think?
I think you're not in the thread that you expected to be in
I think you're not in the thread that you expected to be in
On the contraire, Polly. I was brainstorming on what sort of dirty ass question I could ask, but I didn't have the self-patience or creativity with sleep deprivation at hand to come up with something worse.

It should look the same.
Would the Samsung Chromebook be a wise choice to get as a secondary, extra portable, long lasting, cheap laptop for college? I have my desktop for any compatibility or power concerns. Is there really anything much better for around the $250 that the Chromebook is going for? Maybe it might be worth pushing my budget up to something like $450 but I'd rather not if possible.

Eh. My sister uses it for its purpose; browser based Social-Networking. For college, it will have no value 3:

Yeah, it'll work fine. Google Docs is everything you'll need in a Microsoft Office alternative. Works fine for everything else web related.
Though, you could get a tablet instead if it's secondary.
Do the Avast! Free AV real-time shields and Comodo Firewall have any sort of responsibility overlap or do they conflict in any way?

It will likely look better than on a 60hz screen, due to the screen refreshing more often so tearing is likely less to occur.
