With the latest Chrome update I lost the ability to open tabs from other devices, any idea to get that back?
What does this do? Would it make my computer run at a different temperature with a different number?
What does this do? Would it make my computer run at a different temperature with a different number?
If you don't know what it does, don't touch it, if you REALLY wanna know what it does, it's for the rare occasion that the OS is not detecting all of your CPU cores.
I'm in the UK, where can I order a large PC Tower? I want to buy a new tower cause my old one is all busted and too small for all the components (changing shit is awful). I looked on Amazon but they only sell Mid-size towers.
What does this do? It might make a slight difference under load, but theoretically at idle it shouldn't make any difference at all, since this is a SOFTWARE control and not a HARDWARE control. No reason for a normal user to touch this, ever.

Holy shit that's 200 quid. Anything somewhat cheaper yet decent you'd recommend? Full tower all the way.

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cooler-master-haf-912-plus-black-mid-tower-performance-gaming-case-w-o-psu Best case I've ever owned, plenty of space, drive bays can be moved around/removed, cable management so they're all hidden and of course it looks sexy. Well worth the money. [editline]2nd September 2013[/editline] If you really need a large tower, you're gonna have to pay a bit more. I'm hoping it's really spacious inside, it'll be less of a nightmare to move stuff about then (I try my best to avoid opening up my current PC because everything's so tightly wedged in!).
Yeah it looks fine, also all of the annoying cables can be hidden behind the motherboard panel, routing all of the cables through there to hide them will make a world of difference.
How is this video card http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX650TIOC2GD5/#overview compared to this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162130? The second one was the one I was going to buy, but it run out.
Well that's different than the first two you posted a while back. The first one with the ASUS cooler had half of the Vram of the Newegg one you posted now. But this one has the same amount of Vram as the second, and slightly higher clock speeds. Also with that cooler design it should be cooler than the second as well. As long as its that specific one you buy, it'll be better than the newegg link you posted
Is there an android app that allows me to take notes by actually writing instead of typing. A bit like evernote (unless I can do that in evernote and just don't know how) thanks

I'm just making sure, this is the first time I'm building a PC And if so, how can it be better if its so much cheaper?
Nevermind I found scribble pad. [editline]2nd September 2013[/editline] Merge
So the ASUS GeForce GTX 650 Ti? I'm just making sure, this is the first time I'm building a PC And if so, how can it be better if its so much cheaper?
Yeah I'd recommend the ASUS, just so long as the one you get has 2GB of Vram and not 1GB. And Price=/=Quality. The only discrepancy I can see is that the ASUS doesn't advertise its CUDA core count but I'm sure its fine

What's the difference between hybrid drives and solid state hard drives? Any drawbacks by having hybrid instead of a regular hard drive in a laptop?
What's the difference between hybrid drives and solid state hard drives? Any drawbacks by having hybrid instead of a regular hard drive in a laptop?
Hybrid is a normal mechanical drive with 4-16GB usually of nand flash. It is an all-in-one caching drive.
My microphone level auto adjusts, to a lower level. And sometimes goes below a level that makes my voice really quiet, is there any fix to this?
is there an easy way to use some headphones with a xbox 360? specifically a jvc harx700
is there an easy way to use some headphones with a xbox 360? specifically a jvc harx700
Well, you can get an RCA to 3.5mm cable and hook up the audio inputs that way, or you can get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Cable-Adapter-XBOX-360-Slim/dp/B002P35JMO Alternately, if your TV has audio-out via 3.5mm (Mine does, check.), you can just plug them directly into the TV.
i'm using my pc monitor i'm looking at that adapter but i don't understand how it works,so you plug in the red and white cords from the 360, but then how do you connect them to your headphones?
i'm using my pc monitor i'm looking at that adapter but i don't understand how it works,so you plug in the red and white cords from the 360, but then how do you connect them to your headphones?
Oh, no, you don't do that... Basically, that plugs into the A/V port on the back, and pipes audio out to RCA connectors. You then use a forked male RCA-3.5mm connector from that, and plug your headphones into it. It's confusing.
ah ok, i get the connector deal, but how would i get the video if that's only for the audio and it takes the A/V slot?
ah ok, i get the connector deal, but how would i get the video if that's only for the audio and it takes the A/V slot?
HDMI? I think, like the Playstation, you can pipe audio and video separately.
is that possible on the old, fat 360? [editline]3rd September 2013[/editline] wait i just remembered why i never got an hdmi cable, my monitor doesn't actually have a port for it
