A lot? How many items do you have?

Just a GPU, a DVD drive and 2 storage drives, doesn't seem like much room for expansion.

Parts use less power than people realize, but it depends on your GPU.

Either a 760 or a 670, i haven't decided yet; I think both just use PCIE 6+2pin connectors.
You'll be perfectly fine with that. People have run Titans off of the SFX 450W

I was referring to the fact that there's not that much opportunity to add in extra cables, I dunno how many exactly I'd end up needing when I do the build (say, the SATA cable doesn't reach ALL of my SATA components or something and I need to use another).
Uh SATA cables plug into the motherboard

These don't:

Thought you just meant the data connection cable
You can just buy sata power splitters or molex to sata power, or if they won't reach a sata power extension or just buy more modular connectors http://www.corsair.com/en/parts/psu-parts/type-3-flat-black-sata-cable-with-4-connectors.html (it doesn't include the cx500m in the compatibility list but it looks the same, seems weird that they'd change it)

From what I saw of the contents of the 500m it already comes with a shitton of cables, I guess I'd be set using it in my rig.
Is it time to upgrade or something?
I was playing Garry's Mod, saw a VERY weird texture artifacting like shit,
[T]http://i.imgur.com/kWb9tDO.jpg[/T]
I started to get worried, checked my temperature on OHM and found out the temperature
was just 35c.
I just shook it off, assuming it would go away, I drove on somewhere further in the map and the game froze, saw one horizontal line on my monitor and the game crashed.
Restarting the game and joining the server, I have a really bad framerate, even with ALL the settings on low.
What is wrong here?
System specs:
6 GB of 1333 RAM
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
AMD Radeon HD 6670
Cooler Master GX 600W Lite
I greatly appreciate help as I'm worried.
My guess is it's simply time for a upgrade.

Probably dying, but you could try to reseat the card
if the temps are fine on the GPU (35c while running GMod is really really good, those are even good idle temps) I'd say add a little bit of voltage to make it more stable.
Do this after you update your drivers and verify that the problem persists, of course. It could just be a one time thing or simply a driver issue.

that said a 6670 is a bit weak, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade, the rest of your system is decent enough and your PSU is good enough to handle any single GPU.
Msi motherboards are terrible
i recently upgraded from a p8p67 to a z77a-GD55
my findings
1. u cant upgrade the bios from within the bios, Msi fail (on there forums i was told be a moderator to use a third party tool
2. cant turbo Overclock to a simple 4.5Ghz
3. MSi support is terrible
now i will be now i will be switching back to my Asus P8p67
-snip this, issue still persists-
Would anyone know the cause for my new analog 5.1 system's center speaker and subwoofer not working?
The speakers work fine when I'm playing on PS3 through optical but for some reason those two are quiet on PC.
My soundcard is Xonar DG.
EDIT: It's actually just the center speaker.
To clarify, during the sound test in both Windows audio managed and Xonar Audio Center I can't play audio from neither the center or subwoofer.
The center speaker stays inaudible but in music and games I can hear something from the subwoofer.

I tried lowering the lower plastic thingies, but it still doesn't fit so well.
Do I lower them more, or its ok like that?
Im afraid of breaking it.
Well you probably end up breaking it like this.
You need to put it on the far end, just like the top one is completely on the top of the heatsink.

Found out the 6670 is indeed weak.
Right now I'm attempting to update my drivers. But the wizard stalled on intalling the HDMI audio driver.
As for increasing the voltage, to how much would you recommend?
I have never played with overclocking settings AT ALL.

Ok now I'm getting crazy here.
Windows determines that the drivers are up to date.

you'd want to go up like 10 mV
I tried putting the plastic things on the bottom, but they go back to where they were.
Would it be bad if I leave it just like it is?
I'm looking for some sort of solution to sync the school work on my usb onto my android phone and back it up onto google drive but be able to edit offline, something google drive doesn't allow.
google drive allows offline editing

help, I have a 470 1280MB GPU and a 560 1 GB GPU and I literally don't know which one's better. I swapped to the 560 because my 470 was running hot and I think it's a little better, but I'm getting a new VGA cooler for the 470 and I think I'll be able to actually OC it now so I'm thinking it will be better.
WHAT ONES BETTER with a moderate OC?
Can someone tell me why Ubuntu does this?

Is there a way to turn off that feature where Windows 8 starts programs one by one when you boot? I have an SSD, so all it does is make the whole process take longer.
So my current drivers for my GTS 450 support the card that I'm going to be upgrading to (GTX 760). Am I right in thinking there is no need to reinstall them?

My old PC used to do that when I dragged windows around, try to reboot or change the wallpaper. Perhaps its even your drivers being messed up.

Saw it on the Linux thread too, seems to be a Ubuntu problem
