Which is a better case, the Fractal Arc Mini, or the Corsair 350D?
Saw it on the Linux thread too, seems to be a Ubuntu problem
Should I update from 12.04 LTS to 13.04?
What headphones make 320 kbps sound good? And what are good external soundcards?
Can someone tell me why Ubuntu does this? [THUMB]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/63660484/Facepunch%20shit/Wtf2.png[/THUMB]
Is it only in Ubuntu? Does it happen somewhere during boot? Have any other operating system, that have this too, or just Ubuntu (might be obvious questions but still want to know). But I would recommend what people have said, update to a later version and see if the error persist. [editline]15th September 2013[/editline]
Which is a better case, the Fractal Arc Mini, or the Corsair 350D?
What kind of computer is the case going to be for? Since they have the form factor(s) Micro-ATX/Mini ITX. It's a much smaller case, so if it's for an example an gaming computer, I would prefer a larger case for better airflow, depending on how much stuff you are going to put in it. But if you already got your motherboard and everything, that works with these cases, it might be a bit overkill to change to another form factor. But this isn't answering your question. I would prefer the Fractal case, since it has a lot of space for it's size. I know they make good quality cases, and it's worth noting that most Fractal cases reduce a lot of sound.

Now I must re-install... AGAIN. Hopefully that stupid wallpaper will fix itself
Is there much of a performance difference between an i7 3770 and a 3770k? I'm trying to choose the best option but I need help.
Is there much of a performance difference between an i7 3770 and a 3770k? I'm trying to choose the best option but I need help.
3770k can be overclocked, and comes with an extra 0.1GHz clock speed, so unless you're overclocking the 3770K then they're basically the same
Decided I want to overclock my GPU until I can afford a AMD Radeon HD 7950 Right now its safe to overclock my GPU, temperature-wise, as I haven't seen it go past 50c on full load. Any tools that I can use to modify the clock and voltage simultaneously? Current core clock is 810 mhz, voltage is 1.100 volt, idle temperature humming around at 31c.
People, sorry to ask again, but would it be ok to leave my CPU fan as it is? AKA not fully screwed into the metal thingie. I cant seem to be able to fully put the fan through the plastic thingies.
Let's say I have an external HDD with an ON/OFF-switch at the case. If I keep the switch stay on ON, will the HDD start automatically when I plug it into a power source? -- Edit:
Any tools that I can use to modify the clock and voltage simultaneously?
Try MSI Afterburner.
Just got it. Got the core clock from 810 to 900 mhz without issues. Now to do the memory clock. I have like 19 FPS using Metro 2033 when in large areas.

Now I found out why the performance issues occured lately, when that happens my GPU decides to undervolt itself to 0.900v Any way to force it back to 1.100v? MSI afterburner has the core voltage locked.

Like, the base of the plastics remain on the same place, but the ends move.

There are grooves for them to lay in, you have them misaligned [editline]16th September 2013[/editline] it's likely easier to push them out from the back of it than to pull them out due to the nature of the rubbery material
I cant move the lower rubbers, as they were already at that place when I bought it. And when I try to move them by pulling the rubbers down, the end of the rubber stretch, but the base doesn't actually move.
Will installing Windows 7 on any computer basically make it much faster than with Windows Vista Ultimate SP2É
I have an Xbox 360 and a PC and some USB headphones and a monitor. I want to be able to see my video games on the monitor and hear my video games from the headphones. The seeing is easy, the hearing is harder. The monitor has no speakers, so I think I'll get an optical to 3.5mm and stick that into the Mic in on my PC. But here's the thing. Will I be able to hear that through my USB headphones, which seem to have their own soundcard thing? I might test it later, but I don't think I have a 3.5 microphone to test it with. Thanks.
Well I need HDMI for the monitor and I believe that has an optical plug on it
You're still looking at an expensive converter... It'd be a lot easier and cheaper to just run analog. You can do analog sound with HDMI video, it's how the Turtle Beach headphones work.
Oh it looks like the HDMI cable doesn't have an optical sound out like I thought. Crap. What do? :|
Oh it looks like the HDMI cable doesn't have an optical sound out like I thought. Crap. What do? :|
Not bother with optical sound, and just use RCA to 5.1?
But then how would I have HDMI in?
But then how would I have HDMI in?
HDMI and TOSLINK (optical audio) have nothing to do with each other. You can have HDMI without TOSLINK, and TOSLINK without HDMI, on both in and out or any combination of the two. The HDMI cable itself can carry an audio signal, and most TVs have some sort of audio output, usually RCA or 3.5mm, not TOSLINK.

Can I spilt the audio and video?
Ok, but my monitor has no speakers or audio out. Can I spilt the audio and video?
For the low, low price of $4.31, yes! http://www.amazon.com/Optical-Audio-Adapter-Xbox-360-Cable/dp/B0042UQLM0
That isn't HDMI... I'm using a monitor. Plus you just told me not to bother with optical and then linked me to optical...
