they have been for quite awhile. and since Steam is coming to Mac soon I can see lots of Mac users getting gaming mice from Apple.
steam coming to mac still won't help the relatively weak hardware.

on the bright side you'll get about the same performance out of the hardware as you would if it was running windows, so it's not like they have a DISadvantage (other than their hardware)

this has nothing to do with hardware, don't start an argument.
plus OS X runs on a more efficient kernel. It should perform better on their systems.

Right click to drag an object with the gravity gun....
The fuck is a right click?
command click to drag an object with the gravity gun

now that's going a bit too far

Ok, when will people get this. The might mouse has right click. All apple notebooks have right click. And the new magic mouse has right click. Why do people keep saying it doesn't have right click? It does. I set it to right click when you tap with two fingers, otherwise, it's control click.
now that's going a bit too far
It actually does run a more efficient kernel. Try benchmarking a mac and a windows machine with the same specs, see how shit turns out
now that's going a bit too far
It's completely true. Are you really starting a dos vs. gnu/linux battle again?
is that why Macs are more expensive :downs:

It's an old joke. The first Macs only had one button. Their big marketing thing was that you could operate it with one finger.

i don't have a mac so you'll have to link me to some trustworthy results because in the past everything has pointed to the windows machine peforming better with the same spects

and people who STILL don't know MAcs have right click and even had an alternative are stupid and need to stop living under a rock.
It's completely true. Are you really starting a dos vs. gnu/linux battle again?
Linux is an extremely efficient kernel, but I didn't mention it anywhere in that post.
It's completely true. Are you really starting a dos vs. gnu/linux battle again?
i don't follow what you just said
and i'm not at all starting a battle of any kind. i didn't even dispute the kernel, i meant that the mac won't outperform the pc, it will run the same.
It's an old joke. The first Macs only had one button. Their big marketing thing was that you could operate it with one finger.
that is true, but hasn't been relevant in a long time.

They just have really good marketing. They're hardware is really overpriced, so you could say your paying for the operating system, since it only comes with their hardware. theoretically. And it really is a good operating system for people who don't know anything about computers. It holds your hand 10x more than ubuntu.
Example. The sharing preference pane, is basically an on off button for all kinds of different ports, from ftp, ssh, vnc, and more. and it all comes pre installed.

Of course, it really isn't that difficult to do it yourself, so that why I prefer linux. But some people like things being done for them.
I think I should make a screencast tour of Leopord, so maybe some pc users can get an insight on why morons love it.
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/reviews/4258725.html?page=4
that's interesting, but then again, "vista"
personally, my performance was 7 > xp > vista

I used that article in a persuasive essay... I got the teacher and some students to convert to Mac :smug:

i dislike you
i dislike you
The feeling is mutual.
Not really. I've just always wanted to say that.
i dislike you
the feeling really is mutual, unlike maccabee. no need to treat an os like a religion that you must "convert" people to.
and it really is a religion. it practically tells you how to think.

I feel dumb. I've been using Macs since I was 3 and never really got into all the fancy stuff

lol, I say "convert" to piss people off.
[editline]08:56PM[/editline]
otherwise I would've said "made the switch"

who are you?
he's the one converting people, not me
i never militantly go around trying to convert people to windows. in fact i am always completely silent and unbiased around mac users. i do however rebut their arguments when they berate me
oh wait do you mean you dislike me or him? i thought you meant me
because saying the feeling is mutual to me denotes that you dislike me, not him. i think some people may need to look up the definition of mutual.
a lot of people probably dislike me, so I wouldn't be surprised if he meant me
that's interesting, but then again, "vista"

That was arguably true before vista's second service pack, but now XP and Vista perform about the same, and Windows 7 marginally outperforms both.

yeah i will pay that as I haven't used used XP or Vista (on my own machine that is) since the release of 7

just as bad, paraphrasing something doesn't change your actions
