[QUOTE=daigennki;52388884]We were using a projector at school today. Inside the carrying case for it was the projector, its power cable, a VGA cable... and a HDMI to DVI cable with a DVI-I to VGA adapter on the DVI end. :why:[/QUOTE] I gave up on understanding this
Payroll at work is a fucking mess, never outsource things. Took me 5 hours to do something that would have taken under an hour because coding conventions were ignored. Why use a data table directly when you can do retarded shit and convert everything to strings then upon saving create a new row and pull the data back out and parse it back to dates and decimals and shit. As a bonus it means adding a new column requires you to add it in four places instead of just one.
Could anyone in Australia (Melbourne but I'm sure anywhere would work) who would be willing to help me make a phone call to the police please PM me or add me on steam I don't really know who else to turn to, I'll understand if nobody can

You can usually just google their full numbers. If this is a matter of emergency, you should not be asking for help on the internet.

Well, I just removed imgur's new image page [t]https://tenryuu.blob.core.windows.net/astrid/17-06-22_20-49-32-Imgur_The_most_awesome_images_on_the_Internet_-_W.png[/t] if you're headers have text/html in them, they now have a meh/10 + 400kb of javascript for each page (react.js) [t]https://tenryuu.blob.core.windows.net/astrid/17-06-22_20-51-02.png[/t] Modern web development still sucks
[QUOTE=Dr. Evilcop;52386891]I'd stick another 8GB in there if you're planning on playing triple A games released after 2017 if I were you.[/QUOTE] Oh believe me that's the plan, that's just another $65 we don't have.

[QUOTE=Van-man;52389640]Soon Imgur users will act like Pentium or jump ship[/QUOTE] I told you Imgur was a bad place to switch to. No need to bunnyhop one sinking ship to another. It just fucking annoys me with these places that while they already have paid premium accounts and services and advertise in-house novelty printing services they STILL need yet more advertising to shit everything up. The fact that Photobucket now requires you to turn your ad blocker off to view anything not in img tags while not logged in is baffling. Do the KNOW what the average user does and does not want?
So what are the better upload sites then? Cubeupload?
[QUOTE=Kiwi;52389996]This is why I choose to self host. I can't trust anything else but my own. Sure it's not the fastest but it doesn't need to be.[/QUOTE] i bought a cheap vps to set up self hosting images and to host a personal website but i'm way too lazy to set it up so i still use dropbox (pro still gets the public folder till september)

[QUOTE=Oicani Gonzales;52390086][img]http://i.imgur.com/EuNgaoE.png[/img] take your pick [editline]22nd June 2017[/editline] photobucket is pure idiocy and i cannot comprehend how any sane human being can even consider using it[/QUOTE] Problem with all those pomf clones is they seem to run for about 6-12 months then go down because the owner can't be fucked / afford to run it anymore, plus they have absolute shit uptime I just use imgkk for random shit, google photos for sharex and flickr for photography stuff
Would anybody be interested in a $1/month full quality image host...?
So the new SSD arrived, installed Windows 10 on it, it completes. Cool. Boot into Windows 10, everything is still slow as fucking shit, now it loads up automatic repair. What. The. Fuck. Something else is causing this shit and I don't know what at this point.

vgy.me is good too and is already integrated with sharex

[QUOTE=Kiwi;52390214]I'm like paying 15 euros for a Windows VPS from Contabo. [t]https://chie.club/files/images/st/dadab87d-7915-4ff1-9ee7-b2629b426e8c.png[/t] It's quite overkill and it doesn't feel over-provisioned, in saying that I do actually enjoy not jumping through some hoops to host stuff including old game servers every now and then. Might have to CF cache the box though at one point. Speeds get a bit messy every now but I do temporary hosting on some stuff and having to delete cache just for that is annoying(I could probably specify some rules to stop caching on this). [editline]23rd June 2017[/editline] Reagy is still hosting horobox.co.uk and has done for years so if you wanted to jump ship go use hers.[/QUOTE] I really want a dropbox alternative that is self hosted and has all the amenities of dropbox (public and private folder, right click to copy link, syncing between devices, etc) but I haven't found a good one It's gotten to the point where i might just write one myself
I've written a lot of custom uploaders for sharex in my time if it didn't require oauth that is. Either just using the api, and parsing json with regex (before json compat.), or just hacking shit up

I'm gonna add proper mounting at the top where I bent the plate metal, tomorrow. Tired of the whole thing for today.

I am never going to stop paying for this thing even if it's old as fuck. Mostly powers my personal website and the occasional game server. They periodically have deals where they remove the HDD and slap it in a newer machine for a hundred or so. This originally had 16GB of RAM and a single Xeon 5150.
I just spent 20 minutes diagnosing why my printer won't work over the network after my pc was done updating I tried rebooting everything, enabling/disabling the file/printer sharing, reinstalling drivers, literally everything Turns out it just needed a really strong kick

Then they took that option away in favor of more advertising.
