Bit of an odd request but can someone with an M.2 slot check if the same screwdriver that fits basically everything else (HDD screws, Mobo screws, PCI-E screws etc) actually fits the screws on M.2 slots?
New SSD arrived and I was going to benchmark it in the current rig but the screws are in the Mobo box 500 km away, I don't have a smaller screw driver to get the laptop back off to pinch those and the new Mobo won't be here until tomorrow or friday. I'd just rather find out I need a new screwdriver sooner rather than later.
[editline]reeeeeeeeeeeee[/editline]
Male parental unit has confirmed the screws are fucking tiny like I thought, screwdriver set ordered wee
I didn't wanna bother Hezzy again just to fix my mistake, but if you're offering:

Worth it.

It breaks it into pairs.
In Racket, car/cdr are used to retrieve the first and last element of a pair respectively.
cdadar does it in the order of car -> cdr -> car -> cdr, so it goes:
[cpp]
> (car '((7 (5 4 3 2 1) 6) 8 9))
'(7 (5 4 3 2 1) 6)
> (cdr '(7 (5 4 3 2 1) 6))
'((5 4 3 2 1) 6)
> (car '((5 4 3 2 1) 6))
'(5 4 3 2 1)
> (cdr '(5 4 3 2 1))
'(4 3 2 1)
[/cpp]
(I know more Racket than I'd like to admit. Help.)
So One Plus failed to respond to most of my communications and refused to do anything on the rare occasion I could solicit a response. They didn't even respond to my PayPal dispute. Now that it escalated to a claim, they respond. And they keep telling me to cancel the claim (lose any way to get my money back) or they won't refund it nor send a replacement. I told them that their agreement with PayPal requires them to send a replacement before I can cancel it and they just told me to cancel it and wait for their 'investigation'. Which is ridiculous, considering UPS has confirmed that the package is lost a day after it was supposed to be delivered.

cdadar is equivalent to ( cdr( car( cdr( car(...) )))))
cdr = get the tail of a list/pair
car = get the head of a list/par
These are common operations in functional programming.

Yeah Oneplus support definitely leaves a lot to be desired. One of the sacrifices of the cheaper price for the specs.

There are a few similarities between how I prefer to program and my lifestyle: Object-oriented, easy to understand, and completed with minimum effort.

Also, anyone want to weigh in on password managers? I am contemplating switching to 1Password since it overall seems much more secure and polished compared to LastPass. I wouldn't care about having to migrate, or the $36/year charge versus $12/year.

What speaks against KeePassX with Dropbox or something similar self hosted?

He did and they did nothing, which is why he escalated that dispute to a claim.
Thanks to chinglish instructions and a general lack of familiarity with the stuff, setting up my IP camera system with my 16 channel NVR and POE switch took a few hours longer than it should have. Anyone have an IP security camera setup? Going to have to spend tomorrow running CAT5e and installing the exterior cameras.

I don't want to deal with anything self-hosted, but LastPass' history makes me a little nervous sometimes.

My passwords are the last thing I'd be entrusting to another company but if you're that confident in the company go ahead.
Rocking KeePass 2, database synced with Syncthing for unlimited version history stored on my server and access from all my devices. Then again my phone is connected via a VPN running on my VPS all the time so maybe I just have less trust overall.
I would probably self-host with a VPN setup like Algo, but I know just enough sysadmin shit to get myself in trouble and not enough to get myself out of it. It'd probably be easier for someone to hack and steal all of my shit if I did self-host than if I went with 1Password, which at least seems a bit safer since you have the master password and the secret key.
vvvv Yeah I'm by no means unhappy with LastPass, just curious to see if any of the alternatives really are any better. Hard to beat $1/month though.
I've been using LastPass for a couple years, I love it.
Is there any way to import an Excel file into Keepass?
My friend's mom keeps all her passwords in a plain Excel file in her Documents folder and it drives me nuts
