I need to get a crimper + bag of terminals already, I have a few hundred metres of cat5e I got for free a while back Benefit to helping a hoarder clean out their shit, you get to re-hoard the good shit :v:
I can't find a bungee that will hold my G700 cable. It's too thick and the bungee holders cut into it. Yes, the G700 is wireless, but it doesn't last more than about 8-10 hours unplugged.
It's the same sort of deal with the G700s. It's still a great mouse with plenty of buttons that I map stuff to all the time tho.

They just aren't missing out on mouse bungees...
I love my G900 to death, but the battery life is the one thing that sucks about it. I usually have a good amount of time during the day with it, rarely have to plug it in while gaming. I've always thought of having a casual mouse around though.
You guys ever tried Windows NT 3.51 in a VM? It's odd, looks like Windows 3.1 but 32-bit so it can run some windows 95 programs.
I know active users of NT 4 but they are all offline machines. I seem to recall it was "NT 3.51, but with the Chicago UI."
Oh yeah it's an awesome mouse, and people who hate on the wireless mice are missing out. They just aren't missing out on mouse bungees...
I don't really use it to play games that much either, I'd rather have all of the buttons it has since I use it so frequently to speed up how I use the computer. As much as I hate the battery life (it lasts like 2-3 days with a Eneloop 2450mAh battery, better than the 2000mAh it came with), I still charge it every night since the mouse either stays on my desk or goes with me to places and ends up back at the same place on my desk. Sometimes I use it plugged in because magically how the cable runs off my desk, it doesn't cause much cable drag at all. Since the cable is basically a custom microUSB to USB type-A cable, I could try and find one that would fit properly but meh. If Logitech makes a new G700s with better battery life and such, I'd buy it. You can use the mouse without a battery installed with the USB cable connected, it will just blink an error code on you via the 3 LED lights on it which I don't think you can turn off at all. Using it without the battery makes it much lighter but can also affect the balance of the weight distribution of the mouse. It might matter to some people but it seems fine to me.
I'm still amazed at how my G602 only needs its batteries replaced about once every four months.
I'm still amazed at how my G602 only needs its batteries replaced about once every four months.
I wish the middle mouse button lasted that long on them.
Haven't had to put batteries in my wired mouse since I got it, pretty happy with the battery life.
I need to figure out a way to bypass the school's QoS. I'm considering trying getting ahold of an ethernet power plug thingy but I'm not sure whether going on ethernet will actually make a difference. Our school desktops are also being hit by QoS so there's a chance the admin doesn't know what he's doing and I could either offer to help him out by lifting the QoS for the computers in the lab and then providing him with all the IPs (including my IP hehe) that should have QoS lifted or even getting to change the settings on my own.
I personally just tape my wire to the back of my monitor, it does the same job. Not having the cable drag behind the desk is amazing.
Mine's just wrapped once around my right monitor's stand :v:

Mine usually lasts about that time. Every two-three days I have to plug it in, like I said I rarely have to while gaming.
I almost considered the wireless version of the g403 but the biggest downer is that I can't switch between two connections so I could have one mouse for both my laptop and my computer. There is a Logitech mice that does this over Bluetooth but I can't remember which one it was but it's a real niche feature and its crazy.
Logitech mx master and some other newer mice/keyboards can do this, up to 3 devices.
I'm still amazed at how my G602 only needs its batteries replaced about once every four months.
I have two G602s and they last much longer than that.
I'm spending the day at CeBIT in Hannover today. Really interesting but I only understand half of it because it:s all in German
I was under the impression it's all boring business stuff these days.
Is there a way to store multiple things in clipboard? Like a key combination I don't know about? Storing only one thing is really annoying sometimes.
Is there a way to store multiple things in clipboard? Like a key combination I don't know about? Storing only one thing is really annoying sometimes.
There are tons of clipboard tools.
There are tons of clipboard tools.
But nothing that's just 'in' windows ?
But nothing that's just 'in' windows ?
No
But nothing that's just 'in' windows ?
Notepad.
Notepad.
Office 2003
Why don't they just put it in Windows as a feature?
Why don't they just put it in Windows as a feature?
Because most people don't need it, and the people who do need it find ways to make it work i.e. installing a third party thing, or using Notepad or something else to handle it.
I don't know. Like browser tabs, if you put it there, people will use it.
Nah, a bunch of people I know over the age of 40 have yet to grasp the concept of browser tabs and think they lost where they were when switching tabs.
I don't know. Like browser tabs, if you put it there, people will use it.
My phone keyboard saves clipboards and I don't even use that feature
Nah, a bunch of people I know over the age of 40 have yet to grasp the concept of browser tabs and think they lost where they were when switching tabs.
Like my mom.. who insists on closing each window on each step of sending an email, opening attachments, etc.
