Sure you wanna go for such a large font? My fear is that'll make it a target for vandalism and people running over it with their art.
We could also just do windows 10's :( under it.

What isn't a target for vandalism? and 6 pixels is already constraining enough when you want lower case + serifs (which I feel like is a requirement for something as iconic as a BSOD screen)
The all caps 5 pixel font looks awful (see: Darth Plagueis)
[editline]1st April 2017[/editline]
Honestly I'm probably gonna go to bed before we even get there so I guess it'll be out of my hands, I'm just laying down a guideline in case nobody comes up with anything better
If any of you do take the lead, go post about it in the reddit thread to update the workers that trickle in from there

We aint finished we have 3 more blocks to extend on the left side still.
I tethered my phone to my desktop and used ForceBindIP to get a Firefox instance that uses the tethered connection, everything else goes through my ADSL.
I think literally everyone else in a decent radius from me, fell asleep. I'm getting 2MB/s+ through HSDPA with shit signal.
Strongly considering just paying for unmetered ADSL2, I can't deal with the 60GB/month of cable that comes with rent. Already at 52 GB with 11 days left in the billing cycle. A few of the people don't actually use anything near their 60 so it's not going to go over the full limit but it's still shit.
Buy a single game and that's 3/4 of the fucking limit gone. Watch a season of a show, 50% gone. Watch a movie, 1/4 gone.
Literally sinful.
I do that like every 6 hours.
I know..
But 60GB a month.
Still living in the stone age ay?
No, I know. I just mean I don't know how I'd survive on that.
English isn't that hardly.
English isn't that hardly.
sry for bad london
That's what I meant.
Sorry. I'm like running on 4 hours sleep and English is hard. Was asking Heli if he's still living in the stone age cause of his 60GB a month.
Now I feel slightly dumb.
Yes Australia is basically stone age. The terabyte of 6/1 ADSL I had before was ass but at least I could have hobbies eventually a week later when they finished downloading. There's no point in 36 mbps when I can't fucking do anything with it.

twitter is incredibly badly managed. we're reaching the point where hanlon's razor doesn't apply.

Bit of a blogpunch, but working in retail where I occasionally have to answer the phone and knowing a fellow FP'er who works at Comcast as tech support really gave me respect for ISP tech reps, or anyone working in customer support really. It's basically the reason why every time I run into an issue here related to my internet connection I try to take every step possible I can and gather as much info as possible until I have to realize I can't do it myself and give the call.
Yesterday we received a new modem because I upgraded our plan but I never got a working connection after multiple reboots, waiting for a long time and also doing a few factory resets (because the first thing I did when I plugged it in was set it to bridge mode to disable the built-in routing functions). At this point I started thinking if anything needed to be switched over because the old modem was still functioning on the same cabling thus I called the tech support.
The guy I got on the phone seemed really refreshed, and the whole conversation was pretty relaxed. He also had a pretty good laugh when I asked my dad what date he was born because I was asking it in a typical accent which is normal for my province.
Finally the problem why the modem didn't work indeed was because it wasn't activated on the ISP's end and the old one was still registered and activated on our account. Switching it over could take up to 3 days, so any moment our connection can randomly drop out as the old modem will be removed. Where usually customers might flip out at that answer I can understand that and thanked the guy for his time and wished him a great weekend.
Thing is whenever I am on the phone with someone I want that conversation to be informal and relaxed, not all formal and professional because I absolutely hate that. On the phone with customers I try to take an informal tone too whenever possible because it gives me a more personal bond with them and it gives me that extra push to help them for some reason.
So i did some data recovery on some dead SD cards i had laying around.
Had to modify this SD card reader to get it done :v:

Got the data from both the cards.

I've been rocking 8 cores on SPARC and MIPS for years.
Just never more than two on Intel :v:

Oh cool!
Not only is there a native driver for the Logitech G15 on Windows 10 but there's also a driver for OS X 10.11.

There's a native driver and a pretty good set of tools for Linux, too.

No, you are thinking of Amiga.
Linux didn't make me a furry, just gay. Oh well.
No, you are thinking of Amiga.
so are you admitting to be a furry now?
so are you admitting to be a furry now?
:worried:
Linux made me gay and furry
Linux made me a very feminine person.
