Servo got some windows builds today.
It's interesting using a browser that's still in early alpha

Posting this from an X230, it's nice but the 1366x768 cancer is making me miss my Zenbook
I am trying to find one of those cool angled power connectors for my GPU, but I can't find anything about them, except from the EVGA PowerLink.
Does anyone know if there are any unbranded, or ASUS variants on the market?

Don't do it! You will never stop.

I want to touch all of these nipples!

I was looking at the X230 but the auctions kept ending a bit high for me. Saw a decent quality X220, with battery, from the UK (no import tax because EU, so catching that train on time), so I jumped on it.
The Plasma TV is giving me so much fucking trouble.
It has DVI but the HTPC it connects to is HDMI. The first thing I did was grab an HDMI cable and a DVI to HDMI adapter. It worked up to 1920x1080 but image movement resulted in crazy amounts of horizontal corruption in the form of green lines. Sometimes the image would totally drop.
Next up was an HDMI to DVI cable with no adapters in between. I gained the ability to turn the panel on when the machine woke which was kinda cool and the image was better but I'm still getting corruption. Is it just a case of all my cables are bad? The panel runs fine on any other input otherwise. Same with the HTPC on another monitor.

AmazonBasics stuff is alright..

Some of it is, I wouldn't trust their HDMI cables though, I can tell you now some of them are not the spec they say they are.

Shame its Japanese market only.

Honestly, seeing a 16:10 panel on a laptop that isn't a Macbook is a wonderful sight.
Fuck Lenovo.
Customer called up yesterday because they couldn't log in, their password has expired and they couldn't figure out how to change it. We explained how to do it but they said it was too hard and gave up.
This is the standard windows login box, not even a custom one.
Help.
I repaired the snack machine at work and now everyone is treating me like a god.

i've asked around on /g/, came across one dude who had it imported
i think he paid around $800 though or something like that
so yes, it's a shame :(
my only issue with it is the ULV processor choices, but then again, in a form factor that small, not like you really have any other options afaik (of course atom, pentium, celeron, but i mean options that are as powerful as an i5/i7)
I barely post nowadays but I have a rating of 2.8 posts per day.
Holy shit I may have created a ton of shitposts back in the day...

Thibking about how I should try to speak a lot more english, as I have a B2/C1 exam coning soon and I want to get close to 100 points. Got over 90 points in the mock exam and during the speaking part I spoke too fluently, having spoken everything but there were still 30sec to fill.

Rightfully so. If the free beer vending machine at my office broke whoever fixed it would be worshiped.

Twice as expensive as the "Buy Now" options on eBay.
I bought mine from a seller in Manchester too, so I won't have to pay customs when it comes in, thanks to EU. Hah, won't be buying much from there after they leave.
I'll also get the UK keyboard layout, which is basically like the US layout except it has a better enter key. I haven't checked how international characters work though.

US layout has the best enter key, ISO is heresy.

I mean their electronics/hardware like tablets, phones, HDMI sticks, etc. Their AmazonBasics stuff is fine.
I have put a lot more effort into rendering than into gaming in the recent months/a year or so.
Feel like I have to upgrade to using Premiere instead of Vegas, because Vegas might not be so powerful according to a friend and might have to upgrade my i5 3570k. Or at least upgrade to 16GB of RAM.
Same friend said that he had to use his brothers computer to render a 30sec video because he only had 1GB of VRAM but after effects required more. I only have a HD7850 with 1GB and feel like upgrading due to newer games like Just Cause 3 not running well, but might have to upgrade due to rendering too.
What fun things can be done with a complete, second desktop with a 2500k?
I impulse bought one off craigslist because the deal was too good to pass up, but it's horrendously overkill in power and power consumption to be a home server when the little embedded linux boxes in the house are working fine.

Our uni has a password reset utility on the website,
What's funny is that even when accessed from the internet, it had an exe extension, also the go back button is javascropt:history(-1)or something that works.
My friend made a new applet, but his boss wouldn't permit using it

Huh, a build box would be interesting. Gradle can eat limp sossidge
Sell it for more money
probably the most practical option, but then i'd spend it on more computers anyway
