I use my dick print to secure my "important" "files".
Did ya'll see this? Win2008R2 box, fully patched, popped with a leaked NSA exploit.
https://twitter.com/hackerfantastic/status/852958717746315264
It's hilarious because the exploit leaked outside NSA like over a year ago, and they knew about, but didn't warn Microsoft. So there's over a year where NSA knew that someone other than they could exploit it, but they still didn't tell Microsoft to fix it.

In the midst of writing my 20000 word thesis paper i realised that my mouse was unplugged. turns out it wasn't unplugged but there's a stupid chrome bug that prevents the mouse from moving or scrolling. it's been bugging the hell out of me since 4 days ago.

That shit keeps happening to me too, feels like the tab has locked up almost. God damn Chrome.
Played monopoly, landed on income tax 7/8 of the last rounds. Love this game.
I was extremely happy with 120fps CSGO performance on my GTX760M, yet, after the Windows Creators update, the FPS appears to be capped at 60, with all V-Sync options I could find disabled.

Are you running in borderless full screen? In that cases your still going through DWM.
For some reason the microsoft game dvr crap turned itself on for after the creators update, maybe you got that problem too
Although csgo will display a message on startup if it's on

Thanks guys. I've actually turned the DVR off with no effect.
However, if anyone else has the same problem, I've managed to fix it by following this guide:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/64nelg/psa_check_this_if_you_got_your_fps_locked_at_60/
Yet there's one more problem, whenever I try to alt+tab from CSGO my computer completely freezes, I'm yet to find any fix for it, it seems that nvidia has released a Creators Update hotfix, but it's yet to show up on Geforce Experience.

It's pretty great
Slo-mo HDR welding and blacksmithing is so :ok:
just got so lucky trying to get a Windows 98 machine running, I needed a boot disk on a floppy somehow but I didn't know if I was going to have to buy a pack or not. I ended up finding a pack of 10 AT&T floppies that all looked like they were unlabeled and blank.
fed one after the other in and the first eight floppy disks were totally dead. then I slid the 9th one in, clicked "create startup disk", and heard it click to life in the drive. what an awesome feeling
So I started to look into why my ThinkPad randomly goes to sleep or shuts down when I am uploading stuff overnight. I opened event viewer and looked at stuff and found that volsnap was the last thing in the event log before it shut down. I looked up what it was and decided to just disable system restore entirely. Hopefully now my Thinkpad won't randomly turn off.
Is there any wizard in here that knows how to setup postfix ?
I can receive email fine if I send it to the hostname but not the domain name.
My DNS entries are:
* A 217.182.205.132
@ A 217.182.205.132
@ MX mx0.chryseus.co.uk.
mx0 A 217.182.205.132
and the postfix config:
mydomain = mx0.chryseus.co.uk
smtpd_relay_restrictions = permit_mynetworks permit_sasl_authenticated defer_unauth_destination
myhostname = vps395540.ovh.net
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
myorigin = /etc/mailname
mydestination = $myhostname localhost.$mydomain localhost $mydomain
relayhost =
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128
mailbox_command = procmail -a "$EXTENSION"
mailbox_size_limit = 0
recipient_delimiter = +
inet_interfaces = all
Man I'm really dreading the switch to 10 next computer upgrade
Why does microsoft have to have so many string attached, can't it just be objectively better like 7 was to XP
[editline]15th April 2017[/editline]
In over 7 years of using Windows 7, I'm not sure an update has ever fucked anything up
With 10 my impression is every update you have to go on a quest to fix what it broke
so a friend of mine supposedly has docker for windows (which uses hyper-v) and virtualbox installed side by side with both of them working
i find it completely impossible to believe because i just tested starting virtualbox with hyper-v enabled and i can consistently get a BSoD

I've had both running at work.
from what i can tell if you use a really old version of VBox you can have 32bit guests and hyper-v, but that's it
