that's probably the easiest of them all for paper tho.

Good thing I don't know assembly

But my handwriting is bad enough to be used as an encryption technique.

You need to learn it if you want to write efficient JavaScript code. It's the only way.

I agree, I read this book everyday

Assembly is easy as shit but tedious as shit.
I feel like there's a misconception among novice programmers that assembly is the hardest thing in the world to understand but it's probably the most simple. The hardest thing is doing anything other than small simple tasks with it :v:

My efficient javascript starts and ends at using basic javascript only
I will take the four lines to create a single DIV element instead of using jquery

Depends on the ISA but as a general rule of thumb; complexity of assembly scales with the complexity of your task.

If only VAX is still around today.
Who doesn't want an orthogonal ISA with instructions dedicated to common data structures?

The languages are easy, reading or writing programs in them isn't.

I mean that's true of all programming languages, isn't it? It's not like it's impossible to create functions and other abstractions in assembly.
I can read all the letters in assembly
Got another presentation final again. Time to shitpost until I have something I can call a "final project"

I had the weirdest fucking trip last night while greening out.
I dreamed Garry dumped vBulletin and tried to enforce Labpunch. It was so weird. Everything felt so poorly designed and it didn't work worth a damn on 16:9. I had to login with a google account too.
I got up this morning and checked becuase perhaps I wasn't imaging it, but you're all still here with the facepunch we all love.
That must of been some awesome weed.

My friend offered an edible and then later changed her mind :c
I would smoke weed with pentium, tbh

This is extra true in assembly. strlen() is as easy to implement in assembly as it is in C. Hello World is already quite a bit harder.

Even extended support for his weed ended in 2014.

Agreed.
Pentium, come down and visit me. We can install W10 together and smoke it up.

Nah, gotta include Jquery even for basic arithmetics.
That 10x thing people talk about means 10x the page size
[QUOTE=Levelog;52133077]Agreed.

At the same time?
We're gonna need a recording of this you know

I tried, but I don't know what the hell my partner did to make them like that seemingly permanently.

That's weird af...
I just spent last 4 hours speaking with a cleveron developer who wants to start a new startup.
Glad I even understood half the shit he was talking about and glad about he thought I was a potential good developer for his team even though I don't know anything about coding. I should probably try some codeacademy or khanschool lessons but I am too lazy for that.
At least you aren't that guy that applied for a Level 2 Support / Developer position and couldn't even write a SQL statement because he "was more into the design aspect." My boss hasn't programmed a single thing in his life but even he got further through the development exercises because he knew that the SQL statement needed to start with SELECT.

Being sponsored to assemble an XP machine.
Man, this is the life.
I'm fucking amazed how hard it is to get cheap compact keyboards WITH integrated pointing devices. Like hell I'm paying $100 for a Space Saver II. My G15 cost that much new.
That thing is shit but I got nothing else that small.
We have these shit logitech keyboards designed for HTPCs or whatever with a trackpad built in at work for the wall mounted compute sticks running support stats. They can't be more than $20.
