Another fun thing with this new version of Chrome, the bug where clicking external program links just brings this

It doesn't actually crash chrome, you just click no and it's fine aside from not opening the link you clicked on

It's probably a glorified meetup
$500 for a tour of a fairly standard small film office
Lol
When you're in Community College for Computer Science taking night classes,
then you get told you have enough credits for a General Education degree.
All because you kept changing your mind on what you wanted to do with your life...
Failure apparently pays off.:eng101s:

There should still be a nasty server or two at the makerspace I can run off with. They do need 3.5" SAS drives though.
Neat, that's one of the guys leading OpenXRay. Small internet.
When I'm changing the volume in Windows 10, the media player thing shows up and doesn't disappear fast enough. There isn't any button to press to make it go away faster either. This is really annoying.

I've found the opposite now that I've upgraded my HTPC. Under XP I had a nice VOLUME meter whenever I touched it with the remotes but under 7 I don't get it at all.

Within a few hours the server is using it nicely.
Can anyone recommend a free virtualization platform? Gonna make my old PC a VM host.
ESXi because it's the best
VirtualBox.
Hyper-V if you're running Win X pro or Win Server Eval.
ESXi.
TBH they all have their pros and cons and they're all amazingly well built.
Prefer Hyper-V due to the fact that I've used it the most.
VirtualBox has a server version now? Also, I'm pretty sure VMWare is more prominent than Hyper-V.
Xen any good?
Did my post mention anywhere that VirtualBox was anything to do with a server? It's just a VM platform like everything else is.
Not much point in a VM host that I have to manage locally, is there?
If your PC supports ESXi, go with that. Best VM Solution available right now.
If you want something windows based due to familiarity, go with Windows Server 2016 + Hyper-V Role
If you want something that runs on Linux and respects your freedoms, go with KVM.
If you don't want KVM, you can give XEN a try.
Eh, guess I'm going with VMWare considering I have it at work and I don't have to babysit an OS as much.

Company I used to work for had beer in it's vending machine that unlocked for purchase after 5pm.
Company I used to work for had beer in it's vending machine that unlocked for purchase after 5pm.
My current company has beer in a vending machine that's free and is rather acceptable to have one in the afternoon on Thursdays/Fridays or during a particularly tough day.
[editline]5th May 2017[/editline]
At the datacenter I used to work at we used to go upstairs at 3 on fridays and just play pool, drink free beer, and listen to music the rest of the day. I miss certain aspects of that job.
What if a problem came up and you couldn't fix it on friday because you were too drunk? Did you just not fix it until moday? :v:
