Hey Pentium, can I buy one of those hard drives off of you? :v:
For the life of me, I don't think I'm allowed to spare any.
For the life of me, I don't think I'm allowed to spare any.
Well the ransom note did say you'll live as long as you show progress, it didn't say you have to use all drives to make progress :v:
For the life of me, I don't think I'm allowed to spare any.
I wouldn't risk it dude
I seem to of missed something somewhere. Last I speedtested my internet it was 20/5. Suddenly it's 30/20. :dogwow:
Don't snitch to the ISP, they'll "repair" it.
Just like every ISP! "We'll raise your prices and give you worse service!"

Why does Xanadu and Lyokanthrope suddenly have similar avatars? [editline]asda[/editline] I've run speed test ten times now and I'm playing with an average shy of 30/30. Fucking synchronous internet. In a rural location. With no mention that we got a free tier upgrade or DSLAM change. Telus HAS to be fooling Speedtest somehow. This is way too good to be true.
Why does Xanadu and Lyokanthrope suddenly have similar avatars?
because some furry artists put their heart and soul into unique commissions and the others use templates
because some furry artists put their heart and soul into unique commissions and the others use templates
Furries? Gross!
because some furry artists put their heart and soul into unique commissions and the others use templates
pretty much this It's cute, though.

These people are insane.
OK.. so I could actually see this as something someone would buy if it had clicky switches. It would still be stupid, but not quite as stupid as doing it with reds that don't have the same tactile response. Sort of a nerdier version of an executive ball clicker.

I would love to collect key caps, but I don't want to have my keyboard look like stupid as shit with different colored key caps everywhere.
because some furry artists put their heart and soul into unique commissions and the others use templates
I can't afford the unique stuff. I attempt to make it myself. To be at least semi-on topic, would a second-hand Thinkpad X230T tablet base station be worth the cost and size? I don't have much plugged into the tablet at any given time because I use bluetooth instead. I like having it propped up but don't know if that would be more or less awkward with a base.
Man, I can't even login to google drive tonight.

It won't really be awkward with a base, it's just going to be thicker and heavier.
Shit, my ISP is now providing 1Gbit speeds. Oh well its a bit pricy anyway, 99€.
That's about the same price we'd pay for in NZ give or take 20 bucks~.
Yeah and I really do not have any use for it anyway. Like I was happy even with my 100 Mbit but since the router I had was shite. I replaced it and then upgraded the speed as well since it was only a 7€ difference now I am paying 36€ for 300 Mbit.
Finished installing my NH-D15. Feels noticeably cheaper than the 14. Thinner fins, rings a lot more and wobbles. But it's still king for air coolers so whatever. Came with two 14cm fans which beat the 14's the D14 came with. Ended up putting my older 14cm Noctua in the back of the case to pull some of that hot air out. Setup my profiles in the BIOS, so my CPU fans idle at 250rpm until about 40c then they go to about 500rpm at 60c, from there it gradually goes up until 75c to keep it under that. Problem is, the moment I go into windows all my fan options are fucked. It defaults to some bad profile and the 14cm fan in the back goes to 1400rpm, and both CPU fans shut off. I think It's AI suite but even when I make sure it's not running it screws things up. I guess I'll uninstall it and reboot to see. Edit: So looks like AI Suite III, asus's software, was just based off of my stock cooler setup from before. it has its own fan curve profiling you do. BIOS runs on its own if no software is setup. Now that I got it setup, it's fine. So at idle, both CPU fans idle at 250rpm. The back fan idles at 600 and then only ramps up when CPU is at like 65c or so. Running prime95 on maximum heat for maybe 10minutes. According to Ryzen Master, I'm only at 60.35c, that's with the CPU supposedly pulling 135watts. Both fans are at 900rpm and blend into the room tone. I do still have my (albeit modded quiet) server in my room, so that just change things. But I got like 25c off my load temps and it's still quieter. It idles at like 30c or something crazy. And when you take into account the offset AMD did, it might even be cooler.

You can't press the keys so they could be on rubber domes for all anyone cares, it's just a desolate case! Why have switches at all? Why not just a molded plastic + to put the key caps on since it's only for display? I am unreasonably angry.
[img_thumb]http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/Lc0AAOSwzgBYxtHo/$_57.JPG[/img_thumb] Looking for a gigabit switch through my usual recycler on eBay, found this. lol :v:
Just a heads up HP and Dell switches are a good bit cheaper, work well, and have Cisco-esque syntax on the better models.
I knoooooow, but I could only find good Cisco switches local to me. I didn't want to pay the $50-300 that most eBayer's are charging for shipping.
Honestly, buying something that old seems pointless since a lot of modern features most likely aren't even supported and there's little to no benefit over a cheap managed consumer switch of today.
