This isn't really the thread for you to ask that. But if we're talking about the current generation of games, yes you should be scared as I'll be surprised if you run games on low or medium for that kind of resolution.
those GTA4 problems are caused by your CPU as well as the RAM
I wish I actually knew the feeling of moving from an integrated GPU to a dedicated GPU. But I've never had a system where I've only had the integrated GPU available to me.

Not an integrated, but moving from a Ti4800 to an 8800 M GTX was quite the wonderful experience.

In order I've had the following GPU's,
Nvidia Riva TNT 2 16MB (iirc), Nvidia Geforce 2 MX 400 64MB, Radeon 9250 128MB, Radeon HD 9550SE 256MB, Radeon Radeon HD 2400 512MB, Radeon HD 4350, Radeon HD 5750 Vapor-X
The one with the most noticable and pleasing performance/graphical gain would of been the 4350 -> HD 5750 Vapor-X
As for the rest it was like gaining an extra 5-10FPS per upgrade so I can't say I really noticed it.
How did you even get half those games to run on a 950??
For me they constantly crash, start spewing polygons, or don't work at all or some retarded shit. Might be because it runs XP though.

I think he told me he used modded drivers to make them simply load.
