Chrome for mac fucks with me, stops downloading iphone sdk 3.2.2 and xcode 3.2 at 98%

Hello. I am wondering if chrome for mac does this with anyone else. More specifically, chrome stops downloading a file at a random time. Sometimes at 3%, sometimes at 47%. Always random. It does this for larger files, files that take 1 hour+.
