you'll need like 3 loops to cool that properly
ok maybe you'll be ok with 2
3x3 ASUS VG236HEs, quad 580 SLI, EVGA SR-2, dual Intel X5680s, two 24GB DDR3 1600 Ripjaws kits, Enermax 1250W, one Lian Li V2120X.
That's $10,875.02 including shipping. What else?
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
Oh and a 1TB OCZ Z-Drive brings the total to $15,026.43.
Hell, why not get two power supplies?
Hell, why not get two power supplies?
Why get 2 power supplies when you can spend the money on liquid nitrogen cooling!
The actual computer won't cost you more than 4k really. Spend loads on accessories, like someone else said, triple 30" Dell IPS screens, get a hench chair, 7.1 home cinema speakers, and 50" LED TV, a fridge and a wife.

The 30" IPS screens offered by Dell have shitty input latencies. Bad for gaming (which the OP really wants).
Wife is optional. Maybe a soda fountain?
Just slap on 1,000 for watercooling. Spend the rest on peripherals.
water cooling can actually go well over 1000
Why get 2 power supplies when you can spend the money on liquid nitrogen cooling!
I wouldn't say liquid nitrogen cooling is practical for everyday usage.
OP basically this is you

He should defiently have waited for Sandy Bridge. I'm certain that we can all agree on that this is just plain dumb.
It is not, sandy bridge does not replace the 980x as intel's top chip. The xeons he is using is the server analogue to them.
It is not, sandy bridge does not replace the 980x as intel's top chip. The xeons he is using is the server analogue to them.
Also because of both the new 5** and 6*** series.

But it is still as cool as fuck.
IN BOTH WAYS
Also, if that guy was him, why did he get GTX 480s? Why not 2x GTX 580 or 4x GTX 570?
GTX 570 is 100$ cheaper, and performs better than 480, while being better SLI scalable, lower temps, lower sound, etc.

Maybe something like that?
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
I threw in a game that will really test your computers abilities.

You have to make the wishlist public.
That's weird, I did, it says it's shared too.
That's weird, I did, it says it's shared too.
I have that problem too, I click share but it won't work.
That's weird, I did, it says it's shared too.
We have to have an account to view it.
We have to have an account to view it.
Then make a account. Its not hard at all.
no the link you're giving isn't a public wishlist link
That thing is so sexy.

But only two network cards... ?
Thats a server motherboard.
Phase change cooling, do it.

Look at the date.
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
Also wow he isn't even old enough to drive yet and it's his first build? What the fuck? Even if he got money from EVGA/Intel and some fares, where the fuck did he get the rest?
Apparently the kid's a genius, holds 3 patents, has his own company and got 5k from some state science fair.

You can patent anything. That has nothing to do with being smart.
ya cascade phasechange bro
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
phase change cpu, water cool gpus
Get mountain mods to custom build a massive case for you, also cascade phasechange because it's awesome
OP if you have so much money would you be so kind to buy me something for Christmas. A video card or a game?

Wrong thread.
Thats a server motherboard.
No it isn't. It's EVGA's E-Peen Macheen board. You get it when one processor is not enough for your XTREEM HARDKORE GAYMENG and you have a bottomless wallet to put into it.
He should defiently have waited for Sandy Bridge. I'm certain that we can all agree on that this is just plain dumb.
But he made that in August according to the time stamp. If I'm not mistaken, that's way before Sandy bridge was announced.
