I wasn't suggesting that they switch, just questioning why you would want a wireless mouse over a wired one.
Pretty much this, Bluetooth is the absolute worst for gaming mice. The input lag can be atrocious at times and poor at best. G9 all the way. [editline]19th May 2012[/editline]
I just got back from the local computer store, such a nice sunny day here in Canada... Anyways, I grabbed myself a razer sphex to try it out. I had it on my passenger seat. I guess a gust of wind must've hit me or something but the wind took my sphex and it hit me across the face while driving and out then went out the window. I stopped my car on the side of the road to go fetch it because a truck drove over it and apparently the driver of the truck was very afraid lol telling me that you don't often see large black squares flying through the air everyday. I give this product a recommendation for surviving a car accident.
It's a mouse mat, not a porcelain vase. Of course it didn't break, it's a piece of foam/cloth.
Had my G9 for 3 years, It's never let me down tbh..
The only thing that's happened to mine is the cable braiding has frayed, but because it's rubber underneath it's only slightly annoying.
G9's laser is finicky as fuck.
Logitech G500 or Steelseries Kana?
Logitech G500 or Steelseries Kana?
G500. Wouldn't you prefer the shape of the G500 over an ambidextrous mouse?
G500. Wouldn't you prefer the shape of the G500 over an ambidextrous mouse?
true i think the G500 would be more comfortable, but the Kana is so damn sexy!
I have to agree the white gloss is damn fine. The RAT 7 Contagion has white gloss finish as well which I was eye balling for a while but didn't end up buying. Also searching "Kana" on it's own in google came up with some sexy asians. took me by surprise and now my family thinks I'm looking at asian girls on google.
I like the black/orange better.
Logitech G500 or Steelseries Kana?
Most certainly Steelseries Kana, if you have to pick from those two. The problems of the G500 have been documented over and over again both in this thread and in that Deathadder comparison thread.

Cheapish decent wireless mice? I've been thinking about ordering from DealExtreme since they've apparently got a decent variety of genuine logitech mice The one I'm quite liking is the m325 since -it looks great and simple -has a tiny reciever which if I understand correctly can be used for more devices with one reciever -18 month battery life (lol I wish but I'm fine with buying a battery every three months, it's just an AA) Also this raises the question: Does that mean I can buy another Unifying reciever, plug it into my desktop, and have it there so I only need the one m325 for both computers? Not both at once, obviously.

Not both at once, obviously.
You should specify what you'd use the mouse for, I can't recommend that mouse if you plan on gaming unless it's MMOs or turn-based games or something. Why specifically wireless to begin with? Yeah I hate to be the dick that questions the question (like in the threads where people ask for a good gaming laptop and get spammed with "get a desktop" or etc.), but often times people don't truly have a good reason for needing a wireless mouse (unless they use a laptop and travel a lot, except you specified that you'd use it on a desktop).
It's for my netbook and since I carry it around a lot I don't want to deal with wires in my backpack. Mostly for internet use, throw a couple CS 1.6 and AoE2 games here and there, I don't really think I need more buttons or anything.
Why not get a really good Desktop mouse and then get an cheap wireless portable mouse?
The thing about my desktop was just curiosity so forget about it just tell me if it's a decent mouse or not for a netbook :v:
We have a mouse like that, it gets the job done. [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] When I say "like that," I mean a small wireless travel Logitech mouse.
Looks like all your mice are now obsolete http://www.legitreviews.com/news/13183/
Went to comp usa and bought a g400 instead of the g500, felt it in hand comparison and I LOVED the scrollwheel on the g500 but the g400 has a nicer feel and i actually got to test them out and I feel as if the g400 is much smoother. Definitely loving it and I even got better at CSS.
Apparently I move between all three styles of grip.
My aunt just got me a Razer Mamba as a graduation gift. Never had a razer product, first thing I did was to make it glow pink. I have a Logitech MX518 otherwise.
Is the corsair m60 any good?
Is the corsair m60 any good?
Yeah, I have it and I love it.
The ultimate question: 2 fingers, or 3 fingers on top of the mouse. Personally, after getting my G700 this week, I've been changing from 3 to 2 due to comfort issues. I'm starting to think that this mouse was designed to have room for only 2 finger operations.
wasted my money on this piece of shit: Steelseries Sensei started fucking up literally an hour after being used, the sensor is faulty and it keeps stopping movement detection need a new one that's no more than £50 and not logitech, razer or steelseries

You'll have to raise the polling rate though up to 500 Hz or 1000 Hz from the default 125 Hz for their sensors to truly shine.

I tried it on my laptop too without drivers and had no luck
How about returning it?
