wasted my money on this piece of shit: Steelseries Sensei started fucking up literally an hour after being used, the sensor is faulty and it keeps stopping movement detection need a new one that's no more than £50 and not logitech, razer or steelseries
you do know products are faulty sometimes, right? you just got unlucky. don't blame it on the company, their products are all solid, they can't do anything to stop products from randomly malfunctioning sometimes
Almost all productions have a small % of malfunctioning units manufactured. These are supposed to get caught in CQ but if the problem affects random units and not batches of units it can be crazy difficult to pin down. Say they test 1 out of every 1000 mice made and the error affects 1 out of 1000, that gives it a 0.1% chance that the mouse they test is faulty. A production error could take ages to track down. [editline]15th June 2012[/editline] Don't bitch if you got a faulty unit, be grateful that warranty is a thing and just contact support for a new one.
Yeah, I wouldn't judge an entire brand because I got one faulty product. At that point, I just assume I'm unlucky and listen to other reviews about the product. If it happens again, then I start to get wary.

Since my DA is playing up, I was thinking of replacing it. Currently I'm trying to decide between getting another DA from somewhere or getting a Sensei. tl;dr Sensei or DA? Or should I mend my DA, since it's most likely something in the scrollwheel?

Been using my intellimouse 3 the last 8 years :v: Still works and I see no reason to change. So comfortable
I bet razer would replace it, just email them. Unless it's old, of course.
It's a V2/3 [editline]20th June 2012[/editline] The scrollwheel also fixed itself somehow.
I'm in love with my G500. That hyperscroll is so damn comfortable.
I'm in love with my G500. That hyperscroll is so damn comfortable.
It's the only thing I miss from my G500 on my Xai - wish more mice had it
A friend of mine gave me a 35% off coupon for certain items in the Logitech store. I was thinking about getting the G700 for $65 with it, is it worth the buy?

Anyone tried one of the Corsair mouses? I'm considering getting a M60 soon.
Anyone tried one of the Corsair mouses? I'm considering getting a M60 soon.
Yeah, I have one and I love it. Feels really high quality [editline]23rd June 2012[/editline] IF ANYBODY IS CONSIDERING AN M90 MOUSE, IT IS ON SALE FOR $35 ON NEWEGG http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826816007&nm_mc=EMC-EXPRESS062312&cm_mmc=EMC-EXPRESS062312-_-EMC-062312-Index-_-Mice-_-26816007-L02A
I'll sing some more praises for the G700, I've been using it for a year and love it. It replaced my very old but very lovely G7. I liked the G7 battery system better but I just end up setting my mouse hooked up on my tower every night to charge. Also, heavy enough not to go flying out a car window from a gust of wind, so that is a plus, lol.
G700 users what up!
Anyone tried one of the Corsair mouses? I'm considering getting a M60 soon.
Bought one after going to a Corsair sponsored overclocking event, and it really is a great mouse with really solid build quality and nice features. I don't really find much use for the Sniping button, but if you do a lot of sniping when playing FPS' then it's a great feature to have.
I know this is more about choosing which mouse to buy and less about mouse repair, but my wireless S520 sometimes, after I click once, will act as if I'm holding down the left click. This doesn't happen with the right click, and it's very annoying. It happens so much I can't play games. Can anyone help me with this?

If you can solder and have a donor mouse to steal a button from (asuming it's a common type) you could just replace it. Otherwise, if you still have warranty use that, if not buy a new mouse.

It throws me off because I have to put too much pressure on my thumb to aim normally. I'd say the only flaws about the mouse, period, are A: The sniping button is a little too far forward (This may be a personal thing) and B: The middle mouse button is a bit harder to click than other mice. Other than that, its perfect.
