So I feel the extra mouse buttons on my G9x are hard to push, anyone else feel this?

Is the G9x considered the best? Is Razer comparable to Logitech?

Personally I prefer Logitech over Razer due to the ergonomics I've experienced with Razer. Also logitech has the most amazing customer support you will ever witness.
Also, because I'm insanely biased from ownership, I'd say the G700 is a better mouse than the G9x.

The Deathadder V2 and V3 is still the best mouse possible. Nearly indestructible and has an amazing sensor.
I love my deathadder. I dread the day it dies (won't happen for a while) and I have to pick a new mouse. I'm so accustomed to the ergonomics and handling of the mouse. Whenever my friends come over they can't seem to get used to the high sensitivity, but for me the mouse is just perfect and I wouldn't dare change a thing, for fear it might mess with me somehow

You say that as if Logitech is automatically assumed to be better.
Razer has some good mice as does Logitech (mainly the G400). Razer Abyssus and Razer Deathadder would be the best that Razer has to offer whereas the G400 is the best that Logitech has to offer (since they removed prediction and etc. from the sensor).
Steelseries and Microsoft also have some great mice that should be considered.

looking up stuff, I noticed the Deathadder can only change between four different DPI's, 450, 900, 1800, 3500
My G9x can be any DPI from like 400-5700
No I know anything above 1800DPI is useless unless you got some 6k resolution, but is choosing between 900 and 1800 a little too harsh?
Also, are the extra mouse buttons (mouse5 and mouse4) easier to press than the G9x's?
Why do you put M$?
I've seen some people using it as an abbreviation for Microsoft so I figured why not.
what mousepad for a Deathadder Black Edition?

DPI switching shouldn't be a big selling point when it comes to choosing mice.
The sensor is what is most important (meaning a sensor devoid of acceleration issues [acceleration can be intrinsic to sensors and uncontrollable by software], decent lift-off distance, etc.).

That's because it's new.
Seems like they're focusing on trying to compete with Razer now, hopefully this means a mechanical keyboard very soon

It will be ungodly expensive. If the normal logitech keyboards are about 100, the mechanical will have to be double that.

That, or major price cuts on their rubber domes. Either way I would like to see how Logitech's mechanical keyboard would turn out appearance and function wise.
Trying to decide between the Rat 7 and the g500. hard choice.

with synapse 2.0 razer deathadder can be any dpi/polling rate etc (1-3500)
albeit it wont be as consistent as with 450-900-1800
but thats the deal with every mouse
Could somebody tell me a good mouse? I have a Razor Copperhead and it was fine but now left click is acting weird, doesn't register sometimes and I can't drag or anything with it.
Was looking at the Logitech G9x, but then people are saying Razor mouses aren't actually all that bad, and the prices seem pretty good for the Razor mouses too.
So what mouse should I really be looking at?

I still think the deathadder is one of the best mice. But the logitech g500 is great and the g400 is a great budget mouse.
So is the Deathadder considered better than those two other mouses? I found a Deathadder online for 57 quid and the G500 is 64?
Which would I be best going for

that's a common place for it to come off, ask Logitech if they replace it
