So is the Deathadder considered better than those two other mouses? I found a Deathadder online for 57 quid and the G500 is 64?
Which would I be best going for
You can get DA's cheaper than that. But yeah, it's probably the best mouse ever made as far as performance and build quality goes.
Just bought a Logitech G500 and a "Razer Goliathus Speed Extended mouse mat"
PC world had the G500 for £30. Cheaper than Amazon... o.0
I still think the deathadder is one of the best mice. But the logitech g500 is great and the g400 is a great budget mouse.
thats silly, the g400 and deathadder are some of the best mice,
the g400 has the best quality censor on the market but has a crappy scrollwheel, and the shape makes your pinky hang off the mouse..
deathadder has a fine shape and good scrollwheel, no censor problems

I said nothing but good things about those mice, what's silly?

I think he meant calling the G400 a "budget mouse" is silly because "budget mouse" may imply to some people a mouse that should be bought because of the cost rather than because of the quality. The WMO may be a "budget mouse", but it is still superior to almost all the other mice out there.
Anyway, I believe the G400 and DA are both superior to the G500 because they don't weigh nearly as much, cost less, and have less sensor issues. The G500 isn't bad by any stretch of course, just the G400 and DA manage to outdo it.

Yea I suppose, I got the g400 for 25 bucks, which is a steal. Had the deathadder before and wanted a change.
This has been my mouse for the past 6 years:

It's just so comfortable and reliable. Haven't had a single problem with it yet, plus it is nice for both gaming and casual usage.
Just bought a deathadder for 60 euro. Should arrive in a few days, looking forward to it.
Now to buy a mechanical keyboard

I've had mine for 5 and it has been superb. It will be a shame when I have to replace it, as they don't make these any more.
Edit: I do have one complaint though: Sometimes I accidentally hit the DPI button and it fucks up my sensitivity. I have to hit it 5 more times to cycle back to the right profile.
I require a new wireless gaming mouse for my laptop, I cannot decide as I want to try something
different than Razor for once since they are not always best as they are made out to be, Alienware for example. Anyways straight to the point here is the list
I am considering please help me out on features and quality, Thanks.
1. Microsoft Sidewinder X8

2. Razer Orochi

3. Logitech G700 (Don't know if it will work well with my other Logitech products.)

(Also please if you have any other mice you could suggest to me please post them.)
The g700 is probably the best wireless mouse you can get.

Be a bit more brief I mean I can't just trust it on probability.
Logitech makes great stuff, and has awesome customer service. G700 is probably the best wireless gaming mouse available excluding the higher tier logitech mice.

You could say I am trying to dodge them slightly because the last two mice I have had currently are logitech and since I have bought this logitech g930 wireless headset both the mice have acted strangely even without the g930 receiver plugged in and it has sort of put me off buying other logitech products to work along my g930.
I have a logitech gamepad and it doesn't interfere with my G700 at all, it shouldn't interfere with anything else. I can't say that for sure though.

I have the X8 and I've never had any connection/accuracy problems, although it seems the scroll wheel on a lot of them starts to scroll automatically so to speak.
I don't know if it's mouse roulette or everyone's is bad, but I'd stay steer clear of it. It's a shame though, I like it, but god forbid if I play a game that uses the scroll wheel :V Everything else is dandy.
I also got it for £20, otherwise g700

The official Facepunch page scrolling mouse.
Also if Logitech ever does actually get into mechanical keyboard territory, I'd love to see a G110 version of it because I'm deathly in love with the barrel volume control.
For mice, I've been using a G500 and I like using the side buttons for weapon switching in Valve games way more than the scroll wheel, it's faster for me but I feel more in control so I don't skip over my knife or sidearm like I usually did with my scroll wheel from switching too fast.

Hey. Hey Ninja Duck. Guess what the Corsair K90 has.

It looks a tad ugly, those colors.

For $110? No thank you. I got my G110 for $60, and on Amazon it's listed for $55.
It's not like a Logitech mech would be any cheaper. Just throwing it out there.
A Logitech one would be obscenely expensive because it would have a screen as well as mechanical keys.
So I want a new mouse, my current one isn't the most comfortable, the rubber padding gets easily dirty, and I want something better, and with more customizable. I'm a finger grip, and I want a good mouse around or below $35. Right now I have a MS wireless optical mouse 2000. This is my current mouse:

I'm currently looking at this:

Any suggestions?

-snip im dumb
But that mouse looks pretty good for the price
So my MX518 has pretty much died on me. Now I'm thinking what mouse should I buy, either a G400 or maeby even G500.
My g500 and steelseries mini mousepad arrived, and holy shit this mouse just fits like a glove to my hand.
Mine is still caught up in the royal mail destruction system. Hopefully it will arrive in one piece tomorrow.
So I see that most people still seem biased towards Logitech...
You know, Steelseries, Razer, and Microsoft have a lot of mice that are also great, and in my opinion better than anything Logitech has to offer (apart from the G400).
It's like Logitech has found this niche, gamers who want serious-business gear and none of the frilly stuff that Razer and Steelseries seem to offer (or so they believe), when in fact Logitech are the ones that offer pointless weighting systems to their mice and retain sensor issues in their laser mice. They believe that Razer is in the same state as Alienware, producing overpriced, ricey junk (to which I would reply, take a look at the Razer Deathadder or Razer Abyssus). And I'm not anti-Logitech, I've owned two G5s and one G500, I just believe they receive too much undeserved praise.

I recommend the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1, Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0, Logitech G400, or the Razer Abyssus. Out of those, the WMO and Abyssus and probably better suited for fingertip grip though.
All the mice above have excellent sensors though and are relatively lightweight. Although the Abyssus sensor may have a few issues with certain surfaces, when it's working properly it is great.
Sooo, now that we have an official thread for this, I would like to ask, is the G9 actually any good? Mine is falling apart (the "comfort" grip is completely destroyed, and the weight tray is completely loose). The only good thing about it is the teflon skids i got for it. I'm considering getting a G9x to replace it. Is it worth it, or should i be looking at something else?
I didn't buy the G500 for its apparent notoriety (Hell I didn't even know it was a mouse people tend to buy). It was just the right price and feels decent and I've had a good experience with Logitech in the past. V:v:V
I use a Razer Deathadder at work. I can't stand the side buttons and the drivers are horrific (Not that you need them), apart from that it's a great mouse.
