Build a robot out of the parts and teach it to love.
you have a dick, use it.
or
host servers and shit on it. Old computers are great for that
toy with it; try things you've wanted to try on a computer but were too afraid of breaking it to try, like overclocking. Then make it into a server
Fiddle-around with linux on it.
you could give it to someone who needs it... or make a youtube video of you smashing it.
Overclock, remove heatsink and post video

It's still decent PC tho
It hurts me to see these suggestions when this is a lot like my computer, only exception is that I have a Pentium D.
Dick around with different Linux OSs to teach your self new stuff. After that use it as some kind of server (I might set it up as a personal file server if it was me).
Sell cheaply or give it to someone who doesn't have a PC or can't afford one.
Use it as server/download PC. Store the parts in case on of your current PC part goes boom :v: Spare parts are always handy.
sell it on ebay as a 500000MB HDD PENTIUM 4 DUAL CORE L33T GAYMEN MUSCHENE
Keep it as a backup or something
or use it with another comp to play like CSS with a friend or something. Lol
Sell the salvage-able parts, and blow the rest of it up.
I suggest a .12 gauge.
(That's what I did with my old one)

sell for like 100 bucks and use the money to buy a nice mouse or something or a few new games for steam
Shit I'd buy that from you...how much you want?

What a waste
i'll take it
How about you blast it with 120V ac
Be a good friend and revive Sacred Underworld by making an internet server out of that computer...
Use it as a game server or something
Depends if it's a good computer.
Depends if it's a good computer.
It is pretty good, it's good enough for a server
Ok then, were the specs listed at the start the specs of the old PC or the new PC? --- Just realised it is, by reading through the thread.
I'm pretty sure that's the specs of the old one. Why would he provide specs for another computer?
Well then, I agree. It should be used as a server.

Server for what game? I say Sacred with modified player limit. Hell yeah, 100 FP'ers on Sacred!
Any game. It's not really my choice.
Whatever game you like
Ehm, my current computer is about that, and I can play crysis and just cause 2 on it.
Awesome. but the only online game on my Steam account is Half Life 2 : Deathmatch, and many people don't like that anymore.
Run Folding@home and help stop cancer... or some bad biological thing. Just run and forget, you dont even need a monitor, mouse or keyboard.
Edit: Also the 8600gt is great for folding.
Do this, but install a lightweight Linux distro first. More free resources = more research.
